White Spider is managed by young people who love climbing. Having taken our granddaughters there on many occasions, I can vouch for the authenticity of the offering: young people can learn from expert practitioners who are passionate about this sport and gave a high regard for safety. Kids generally seem to love it.

This was my sons first time using a climbing wall and he took part in a Creepy Crawlies group with some friends. I thought going as a group of 4 was value for money plus also he felt comfortable with his friends and it gave them all the competitiveness to show what they could do. Given my son has never... Been to this place alot with my 4 kids ranging from 4 years to 15 years old. Staff always happy to help and the price of the cafe isnt too bad either. We always use the auto lines and it isnt too exspensive either. Its clean and theres a castle and small wall for the little ones to go. Most... More

This is a great local climbing area with lessons for children and beginners, guiding them through the NICAS scheme. Although I am not a climber my children have enjoyed birthday parties and climbing for fun as well as graduating through the NICAS scheme. I am impressed with the range of challenge available whilst maintaining a high concern for safety. A... More

Really helpful staff, good training given for youngsters in the Nicas scheme and also the bouldering scheme. Selection of vacation courses. Plus autobelay for complete beginners and mix of challenging climbs for more advanced ones.

Visited this place with my 8 and 5-year old children and they did not want to go home at all, wanted to keep climbing. None of us have had any climbing experience before but the kids were perfectly fine in the auto-belay routes. Staff is very professional and they were exceptionally nice and patient with children. The place appears to... More

Wow! This was a first time experience! And what an experience! I loved it. Fantastic staff who made us feel comfortable - clear instructions given, lots of encouragement, and on my third attempt I got to the top! Such a feeling of achievement for an unfit fifty something woman! I will return!

My son is undertaking the NICAS courses here and loves coming every week. The climbing is excellent, as are the instructors, and he loves the bouldering as well. He has also had some private lessons, which he has enjoyed, and his birthday party, which was a great success. As his mother, the cafe is great to sit and relax while... More
