    Lovely
I loved this beach. The sand was lovely and the cool sea breeze was very welcome on a hot day. Things to know if you’re weighing up whether to park at Western or Central: the lifeguards are more likely to be near Central than Western, and Western has a steep sandy hill up then down from the car park which could be seriously challenging for anyone with limited mobility or a lot to carry/corral.

    Beautiful beach
Stunning beach, all sand, lovely clean waters and beach. Beautiful day out, with a lovely breeze to stop you getting too hot. The ice cream vendor's around the beach are massively over charging they wanted £4 for one small ice cream. So I would pack your own food and go to a different venue for your beach goods, but other than this, its a wonderful beach !

An excellent day out at the beach
We visited Camber Sands for the day whilst on holiday in the area. It has everything you need for a family beach day out. Plenty of car parks with toilet facilities, cafes & kiosks dotted along the beach for snacks & ice cream. Make sure you wear plenty of sun cream as it's a wide open space with no shade. It's a great sandy beach with easy access to the sea. It's patrolled during the summer months by RNLI lifeguards

Had a great time, beautiful beach.
Beautiful place to visit. Park Dean facilities were plentiful. Staff were lovely. Service was good, bit pricey though. We were here for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty to do in the park and great wee towns to visit outside the park.

    Lovely beach but very windy
Absolutely stunning beach, but SO windy, even when it is hot and there doesn't appear to be wind anywhere else! I think it's because of the dunes. Strongly advise to take or rent wind breakers while on the beach, particularly if staying for long periods of time. Be careful (particularly with children) of climbing up onto the sand dunes. Some go quite high up and it's therefore quite easy to slip down them.

    Beautiful stunning sandy beach
Beautiful rolling scenes of sand dunes opening up to a vast sandy beach. Perfect for days out building sand castles, sliding down the dunes and relaxing. The council do an amazing job clearing the tonnes of rubbish sadly left by people who do not care about the environment, their surroundings, local wildlife - really sad to see, more evident on the weekends. There are ample bins provided, thete is just no excuse. It was all cleared away very quickly and rest of the weekday was lovely and clean. Camber sands is a good base to explore the surroundings- Rye, Bodium Castle, Battle to mention a few

    Great beach near historic Rye
The £30 parking charge came as a surprise but a tenner each for a day out on this amazing stretch of sand was a bargain. There were several good cafes and places to eat on the beach next to the parking. The beach shelves of so gently it means the water is unusually warm. We avoid at weekends with too many visitors and not such a welcoming atmosphere. There's a small naturist section at the far end near the River Rother but do not swim in river the current is fierce.

Camber Sands - Top tips before going...
Great beach for a day out. Top tip - avoid the 'Central' Old Lydd Road car parks which is an absolute rip off and almost always full from 9am during the summer months. You'll spend hours queuing and it just ruins the day. The £10 car parks just outside the main village are within easy reach of the beach and close to shops, restaurants and lifeguards and it's an easy walk through the dunes to the beach. Top Recommendations for lunch/drinks: The Owl, Old Lydd Road - close to the Western Car Park Camber Landings on Lydd Road for local beers, coffee and chic souvenirs. Pelican Fish Bar for Fish & Chips. Avoid: Dunes Bar (Old Lydd Road), Camber Castle pub, Antonio's pizza and the Bavarian Sausage place near the central car park. Overpriced and poor quality. Other options for travel Another way to get to Camber is get the train to, or park in, Rye and get the 101 bus from the railways station to Camber... No queues, no fuss and the food offering in Rye at the beginning and end are much better. Other beaches locally: Both Greatstone & Littlestone have fantastic beaches if Camber is busy.

    Beautiful golden Sandy beach
This beach area is so beautiful… Sandy golden dunes … Beautiful water very shallow but you have to be careful lots of quick sands, good part the lifeguards are there patrolling at all the time. The car park cost £8 for 3 hours or £10 for all day outside the beach area 15 mins walking distance. Inside there is a shop is very old fashion I think has the same decorations since 13 years ago. The toilets are old they could improve them… they have 2 foot bath tap but they don’t work, 1 outdoors shower. This place has a great potential to be a too destination in the English Riviera….only needs more investment from the council…. Definitely is a hidden gem of Kent.

Had a great weekend at Camber sands the park has great facilities, and the beach was lovely. But the best thing by far was the entertainment that was on offer at the showbar, the Halloween show that was on was one of the best that I'd seen the combination of Dancing and singing was excellent. Shout-out to trooper team and a specifically Nicole. Nicole was amazing and her energy was incredible. Would definitely come back 👍

I give five star ⭐️ for the beach, but parking toilets just out of this planet, dirt everywhere, piss and poo on the floors and the walls 🤮. Too be honest hygiene do not exist in this place.

Lovely sandy beach with a lot potential. We stayed at the very end of the beach away from the crowds. It was a nice day until we took a walk along the coast at around 7pm. The beach was covered in rubbish that people left behind. Used diapers, shoes, clothes, towels, so many plastic bottles, glass bottles, crisp pack, kids toys, and even a travel fridge, food. Seeing this was very upsetting and disturbing. I didn't take photos because I wasn't in the mood to take pictures of the trash laying about. Bins are placed closed but I guess people just could not be bothered to do their bit. Tide was coming, so all of this textiles ended up in the sea, unfortunately no one seem to care. Sad to see people are not educated on recycling. For this reason I would not go back here. Parking is a rip off and disorganised. No one manages the parking so it took us one hour to leave the parking. It was a chaos. They care to take the money but no one cares about safety in this place.
