Nice historical place

I have visited this museum 30 years ago when it had a very important role in the history of Yugoslavia. Now days only enthusiasm and curiosity brings people to this place. It is very small and quite old museum with not much on display, but to sentimental souls gives a lot of pleasure. The museum is kept clean and cozy. The entrance fee is small and I believe it is worth spending.

Very poor

This place holds a significant position in the post-WW2 Yugoslavia of Marshall Tito, but for foreign visitors like me, it is a poor show. Even though I am very interested in the politics and history of this region, even though I engaged a guide, I found the displays chaotic and totally lacking English translations. Frankly, as a tourist attraction, the museum is a waste of time.

One of the most dramatic places in Yugoslav history

learn about the seemingly impossible concentration of liberation forces of nationally mixed country Yugoslavia, and the strengthening of the leadership of Tito that happened in this house during the WW2.

I am a tour guide in Ex-Yugoslavia countries. To come here and to be where the Yugoslav Federation was first discussed and agreed upon is something moving.

the signs lack translation of the texts, or the translation is so bad you have to guess what it means. not worth your time.

This museum is for the people which have some basic informations about WW2.It is close to waterfalls of Jajce so if you have some additional time do not hesitate and visit it.The museum teaches about resistance of people in Yug.... and you might see some artifacts,it is not the biggest museum but still if you are allready in Jajce i recomend this place.

Interesting history about Yugoslavia in WWII
Jul 2018 • Couples
This museum teaches you about the unique form of resistance against the axis forces during WWII. AVNOJ is formed during the war and with this pact the different (former) Yugoslavian nations and nationalities were bound to fight the fascists occupying their countries. Jajce is the place we're the 2nd AVNOJ meeting has taken place.

The museum is small but interesting. Especially on a rainy day.

An interesting museum!

I quite liked the museum. It's especially interesting if you're from one of the ex-Yu countries since it's about one of the most important moments in the history of the 20th century Balkans. I think they did quite a good job with telling the story about the 2nd AVNOJ meeting.

A small museum but still interesting
May 2017
It's a very small museum, just one room to be exact but as long as you're already there, it's OK to take a look. It's basically a hall where the Republic of Yugoslavia was formed by Tito and his partisans during WWII. So there you can see some artifacts from all of the Yugoslav republics from that time. It's not impressive but still interesting especially if you're from this area.

Small museum
Mar 2017 • Solo
Very small museum but since it is very close or directly by the waterfall in Jajce, you might visit it since you are there anyway. Some information about the ex-Yugoslavic republics but not enough stuff in English. Photos, uniforms and a statue of Tito, of course.
