This place - as far west as possible to get in Norway is something else. The roads to get there are in themselves an experience. It takes some time to drive, but the scenery is great. We drove in and out of the misty sea...More

If you do not count the islands, this is the most west you can get in Norway. And the landscape is shaped by the strong winds and storms which creates some interesting cliffs and landscape. Very good for day hikes, or smaller ones. You can...More

On a clear day the views are outstanding. There are no longer any facilities at the top, just lots of wind and 360 degree views.

A narrow road takes you to Norways most western point, Vestkapp. There is a cafe and a tourist shop there, but we don't know if it is still open in the tourist season. A good advice would be to visit it outside the tourist season....More

From the plateau you have an amazing view over the Norwegian coast. It is really windy and there is not a lot to do, but it is beautiful

Nice view from Vestkapp, and several hiking options in the area. The entire Stadland area is really interesting, and there are several small nice towns you should see.

Our excursion took us to Norway's most westerly point. The 360 degree view is amazing particularly on a beautiful sunny afternoon. It is 496 metres above sea level. You can see the choppy waters of Stadhavet & the view includes the Sunnmore Alps, Mount Hornelen,...More
