We were on a really tight schedule and could only fit this trip in on a certain 2 days of our trip to NZ. We booked easily over the telephone, and called the day before departure to ensure the trip was going ahead. All systems go so we were at the jetty by 7:30 am on Wednesday 23rd. We were... More

Nice people, but very bad company policy of which we were not completely aware of. Today we went out for a Dolphin encounter. The staff was nice and friendly. However, we happend to be in the very unpleasant occasion of spotting no wildlife at all (no orcas, Dolphin, or anything). This can happen since it is wildlife and there is... More

Hi Michiel, Thank you for your feedback and for being understand that this is a wild encounter. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to give refunds on our tours when we don’t encounter the dolphins. As per our terms and conditions on our website as well as the waiver you signed on the day. There are no other companies in Tauranga... More

We enjoyed the dolphin safari very much. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee, fruits and muffins were offered during the trip, But the best was of course that we got lucky and saw about 80 dolphins, we could watch and to swim with. An unforgettable memory. Dinah & Yael

Wildlife at its best. We were so lucky to be able to swim with 80 plus wild dolphins surrounding us...maybe not luck as the crew are not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable and knew where to look. From the moment we boarded the boat you knew we were in great hands, nothing was too much trouble and they always had... More

We had such a great time on board!!' Fist day no dolphins but great trip. Got a voucher for an other try. Better luck this time, 60-80 dolphins. Awesome experience, very nice and friendly crew. The do really take care of the dolphins well being and don't do anything that could disturb them. Respect the ocean life.

Got bought this from my partner as an early Christmas present as have spent the whole year traveling NZ, and can only think the odds were stacked against us as we hadn't seen ANY and we're due to leave this week. Thankfully, a day I'd been dreaming about since I was about 2 came true today!! Fantastic day, brilliant weather... More

Friends and I visited Tauranga in December 2014 and I find that, now I'm finally able to book a second trip, I never left a review! From the very start of the day the Dolphin Seafaris crew were friendly, professional, and clearly love what they do. Their enthusiasm for the wildlife here is infectious, with lots of facts doled out... More

On behalf of Welcome Bay Kindergarten in Tauranga I would like to thank NZ Dolphins for the very kind donation of a voucher for our annual quiz night. We are trying to raise money to refurbish our kindergarten as the Ministry of Education no longer funds this so the parents are given the hard task to fundraise for this. But,... More

Amazing experience seeking wild Dolphins up to 15 miles out to sea. Enormously lucky to discover a huge group of 500-800 Dolphins (no exaggeration). Actually swam in sea in Wetsuit/Snorkel provided, off back of Boat with Dolphins swimming beneath us clearly in view and having fun. Absolutely spectacular. Stayed in Dolphin area for about an hour. Left harbour at 7.30... More
