It's one of my favourite things to do when I'm home, it's great for a bit of exercise and the views are incredibly beautiful! It's a busy walk with many locals using the track for their usual exercise route.

It's a pleasant walk, not very hard. It took us an hour to get to the summit and 15 minutes to get down. Nice views.

The walk starts off level as you walk around the base and then it gets steeper as you walk up to the summit. If you're very unfit you'd need a few stops to catch your breath - as I found out myself 😂 The view...More

Oruahine is the easiest as it has less steps and a few more flat areas.
