Hands down one of the most beautiful beaches in earth. This beach is secluded, crystal clear, cool waters. Nice restaurant near by with the best seafood mofongo. If your looking to spend the day una. Nice relaxing beach, this is your place!
So a few minutes of Googling or reading these reviews, you’ll quickly understand that this beach is amazing. Tucked away at the far southwestern tip of the country, few people make it here. I was determined to go, after talking with friends who had gone,...More
For starters, the trip must be made for more than 1 day, the road is long and narrow, best if you go with time to spare. you could sleep in nearby towns of Barahona and Pedernales.

Bahia de las Aguilas is a great spot, and really not your average beach. First of all, it’s very secluded and sparsely visited, so that’s great. Second, the natural environment is striking: shrubby, beautiful rock formations frame the crystal clear waters perfectly. Depending on the...More

I was there a month ago ( you can check pics on Instagram @omv7) and we felt totally safe. The entrance to the park is only 150 pesos ( 50 pesos are 1$) and the tour to the “bahia de las aguilas beach” is 500 pesos each. We rented a car and went on our own. We stayed in “Eco del Mar” and it was great, camping like set up but really comfortable right next to the natural park. The road to get there gets tricky ( sandy), so better on a 4-wheeler.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
