This is a stunning rugged part of Lanzarote and it’s quiet in April, I’m sure it’s busier in summer. The landscape is just amazing and only 30km from Arrecife. This is a must see in a visit to the island.

Caught the bus from Arrecife to Orzola and after enjoying a delicious lunch (see other review) spent the whole afternoon enjoying the natural delights of the Charca. The volcanic aesthetic doesn't always come easy to me but here it was just beautiful - rugged yes...More

We found this place by chance after a tour of the North. Warmest we felt all holiday in the wind break circles made of lava. If we go back, would come here again, followed by shell fish in Orzola. Best most authentic trip on island.

Even though it was January this natural beach was a lovely place to enjoy a paddle and a rest in a sheltered windbreak built from lava rocks. There's a car park with a rubbish bin but no other facilities so it's not crowded or touristy....More

This beach is very secluded and not commercial in any way. There are no shops or cafes so if you’re visiting you need to be self sufficient. The water is shallow and clear. There are rock shelters to sun bathe in but these are often...More

Off the beaten track, just outside Orzola. Shallow sandy lagoon. Perfect for kids to play and splash. Sheltered, no waves. Some rock shelters if you are there early. Watch out though as at least 2 are ankle deep at high tide!

Quite place, lots of aquatic life. From Orzola you can reach it through a small path through the rocks. Warm, still waters. It's just beautiful.
