We enjoyed stopping here to find out more about the area and also to learn about the history of the pass. The opportunity to touch/stroke the pelts of the different animals in the region was excellent..who can imagine touching a Wolverine in the wild? All...More

We thought we would pick up some maps for hiking trails but did not expect the extensive history lesson upon entering the building! Some interactive displays for kids (touching types of animal fur, etc., big cat taxidermy, videos about Mr. Roger and how the Pass...More

When travelling on Highway one it is a must stop. Canada coast to coast is explained on the various signs. There are some picknick benches. Also a nice place to see the mountain range.

Used this as a comfort break in our road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Interesting looking building – built to look like a snow shed, complete with grass roof. Interpretative centre inside with history of the pass, local information and displays of local wildlife inside...More

Having a couple of rail buffs in our party, we wanted to see the Visitor Centre and its exhibits about the railroad over Roger's Pass. We found it not especially well thought-out, with no discernible historical progress or thematic thread. For a much deeper insight...More

Right by the road - a good stop for a toilet break (long drop style) and read of the information boards about the rogers pass and those who lost their lives building it and in avalanches. Interesting and informative.

Glacier is a large, unwieldy track of land. You will be welcomed to Glacier long before you see a trail sign or visitors center. It is a scenic enough drive but the real fun is getting out into the thick of it. If you are...More
