It's a place I'd wanted to visit for quite a while. When I eventually made time I was not disappointed. It's actually quite a small venue but the variety of butterflies was good. The first thing you notice is the humidity. Light clothes are a...More

There were plenty of butterflies, caterpillars, greenery, fish and terrapins here. We visited with a five year old and we struggled to make the visit last longer than 30 minutes, which included doing some colouring in. So £15 for 30 minutes does work out rather...More

A great visit! Bigger and better than the one at Bristol Zoo. VERY hot & humid but you can pop out to cool off and go back in as many times as you like with your receipt. Beautiful butterflies and very helpful informative staff.

I wouldn't have thought so. It's quite small and hot, they also have terrapins and I'm not sure how much I'd trust my dogs not to eat a butterfly flying an inch from their nose!
