A great find almost in our back yard? A lovely place to amble about in, many plants for sale to transform your garden, Nice little coffee shop as well with places to sit and let time pass you by. Accessible on Public transport as well.

Friends that live close by recommended this to us and we were enchanted by the venue. It's quirky, with interesting plants and the best Pizza I have tasted.

Mells - or at least the Talbot was written up in the Sunday Times and we thought - soundls lovely let us go. And we did and it is a lovely place - a fine church, the grave of Seigfried Sasson, some lovely thatched cottages and this door in the wall saying garden, plants, tea etc etc. It is a... More

Worth dropping in for a short walk in fresh air. For the style of garden, the words 'informality and profusion' have been taken to heart here! A few interesting plants and a pleasant view from some of the cafe tables.

Pretty walled cottage garden, next to a historic tythe barn in Mells village. There is a cafe that serves light lunches, hot and cold beverages and desserts. The garden contains lots of little pathways and discreet areas with tables and pleasant views, where you can enjoy your lunch or afternoon tea. The tythe barn next door offers a good space... More

We were passing through the area in June and decided to stop for a wander around. Not much more to say than that we enjoyed a very nice wander around looking at the plants and flowers, and had a nice sit down for a while. What more can you ask for (free of charge!)

We have been to the Walled Garden in Mells many times and it's consistent. Consistently excellent! The cakes are lovely and the pizzas that they make in their pizza oven are not delicious and great value (range from £8-£10 from memory) but have plenty of topping (so many places are mean with their toppings, but definitely is not the case... This is a lovely place to go for a Pizza or afternoon tea with family or friends. They also have a selection of ice creams. You can also buy plants here.
