So we went, because well, no where else in the world really do you get a chance to touch a tiger in person.... that said, it was a bit expensive for what it was, we paid for the baby (no way i'm getting in the cage with a large tiger) and sat in there for maybe 5-10 minutes, went in... More

The idea otf stroking a tiger was an essental for us to experience. Tigers are caged and the price varies according to size, large, mediuma and babies (cheapest). We opted for the medium which are up to 3 years old ( 2 brothers and a sister) and entered their compound (with 3 handlers) with some trepidation. What you can and cannot do is clearly... You should not miss this place when you are in Chiang Mai. Some people told me that those tigers are being drugged even though I don't believe, hence they are professional trained and sleep during the evening (that does not mean they are drugged :). How to get there - Find a red truck and negotiate with the driver (the... More

This place is really all about getting your photo taken with a tiger, or two. Best thing to do, is pay the money & get them to take the photos for you. The cost for this is quite reasonable. We paid 50b & got about 60 photos on 2 disks.

Again, this is a tough one to review. There is much controversy about spending time with tigers. What I will say is the following: We did not think the tigers were drugged. It was explained that tigers are less active during the day (nocturnal); the tigers used in this program are no more than 2 1/2 years old, so considered... More

When visiting Chiang Mai this was something I was really unsure if I wanted to visit. However my thoughts were this is the only time I will ever see one of these amazing animals up close and tiger kingdom received many good reviews.Did this fulfil my desire to see a tiger up close..NO. The whole time whilst visiting I felt... More

If u r in chiang mai, tiger kingdom is a must go place. This is the first time we were able to see various species of tigers up close. U could even pet and touch the tigers. An unforgetable experience. Unfortunately, my 1 year old daughter is not allowed to enter the cage due to safety reasons. According to the... More

My husband and i went to visit this place on a Thursday. It's about 30 mins from where we stayed at (near maya mall). We got a free ride to Tiger Kingdom and were worried about finding our way back to town. However, the staff at the counter at Tiger Kingdom were very helpful. They told us to walk to... More

This was a great experience! Saw the small tigers and took pics but they seemed big! Great experience and would recommend it.

We came to park with only an hour before sunset - and were told these fantastic tigers get more active at night. We saw first hand, it's true. They would see one of the care takers outside their cage, carrying what seems like tiger catnip, crouch down, then charge the fence at full speed. They were also playful with each... More
