Myself and my boyfriend were here last week and I left absolutely MISERABLE AND DEPRESSED. They are all caged. Chained... and going insane! I asked a staff member do you let them free ever? She just didn't answer me! I wish we never went, we...More

Stopped off at Mae Rim monkey school, after visiting other local attractions. Wish I had read the TripAdvisor reviews before hand. Having paid the entrance free I walked in but walked straight back out again, it was awful. Monkeys kept in very small cages! My...More

The monkeys are kept caged and chained so it won't be to everyone's taste. They do some pretty neat tricks including riding a book, and number recognition. We were the only people there when we went so enjoyed a private show.

I am so disappointed in myself for giving this place my money. I am confident that the hotel concierge is in cahoots with them. Monkeys are kept tethered by very short chains, unable to move more than a few feet. Others are kept in very...More

We carefully planned our trip to avoid any places like this but on a whim agreed to follow our tour guide's recommendation (we were later told the guides take a cut on the entry fees for most places). Anyway... the whole family was deeply disturbed...More

Horrible, no respect for animals. Monkeys were in chains and housed in small cages. Should be forbidden.
