It must be due to the fact this winery is located in northernmost part of British Columbia climate that will support vines, that Celista's wines are fragrant and so very individualistic in taste. I live in the Willamette Valley where there are literally 100's of wineries that produce wines that are so similar, it's hard to find anything unique anymore.... More

This winery is a gem off the main road and provides a perfect short trip during a beach vacation in the area. The vineyard is set on rolling land and the wine-tasting and other work-related buildings surround the main house. Although we missed the wine tour, Marg kindly gave us a private wine tasting. The wine is very tasty and... More

My husband and I were camping in the Shuswap in Scotch Creek and saw a sign for this winery in Celista. We decided to take a drive and check it out for something to do. We were happy we did. This place is pretty and quaint. You get to try 5 tastings of wine. We had 3 white and two... More

Just visited Celesta Winery, it was a really long (though beautiful) drive from Salmon Arm and we had our children with us so they wanted to walk and stretch their legs. We have done quite a few wineries in the area and everyone has been friendly and accommodating to the kids - which has made us braver to try more.... More

A must if you are in the Shuswap. Jake is a brilliant host and I could listen to him all day. The wine was amazing. I tried everyone and ended buy a box. I have never tasted so many good wines. Great place, great stories and brilliant wine. Please visit to keep the small businesses thriving.

An excellent family run operation with amazing views of the lake and valley. Informative and casual tour lead by the winery owner (I believe it was free too!) with tasting afterwards. Bought a couple glasses and sat out on their patio overlooking the lake for the afternoon. Very inviting and totally worth the drive out.

Four of us did a tour through a company last weekend leaving from Kamloops. Celista winery was our first location. From the moment you drive onto the property you are amazed. The view is spectacular, immaculately kept and the tour was amazing. Jake, the owner, is an awesome guide With a great way of telling his story of their beginning... More

This Winery it situated about a 40minute leisurely drive from Salmon Arm. You can group it with other wineries on the outskirts of Salmon Arm for a great day as well. We tried a small range of wines, and enjoyed most, favouritism going to the Celista Cuvee and Margs Rose. The setting is as mentioned in a previous review, a... More

we were out for a drive one Sunday and came across this winery. It is high on a hill over looking the Shuswap. The location is beautiful, and the staff there were super friendly and knowledgeable. The owners were they and took extra special care of all visitors. The wines are superb. It is worth the drive.
