There is so much to see along the Catlins and a stop at this lookout for a photo or two over Tautuku Bay is a must.

We made a quick stop along our Catlins road trip. Definitely worth checking out the beautiful view. There are some information signs and a few different viewpoints.

Just off the road this lookout is well worth a visit. We were lucky to have perfect weather which I am sure makes a huge difference. We stopped stretched our legs and had a walk around. The coastline is just amazing and certainly worthy of...More

This place was stunning and a must stop for pictures, we were lucky that even though the weather was crap we still got great views of this, it was a lovely change from just forest roads

Visited on Monday 1st May. We stopped but it was raining too heavy to be able to see far. Suggest it would be fantastic on a clear day and a great spot to break your journey even for 5 minutes.

On a beautiful day this spot is definitely a highlight - the long sandy curving beach, almost empty of people.

Very beautiful views from this lookout. It’s right on the main road. Recommend on a bright sunlit day before noon as the angle of the light makes it amazing. Recommend driving down to find a narrow driveway to the beach below - Tautuku beach
