This was where the British were kept as prisoners by Tip Sultan. Not very nice but interesting. Near to the temple so easily walkable between each.

It is great for little place ( a bit sadist) with some history to it. Ask the guard there to maybe give you a quick overview of the place. Must visit if you are in shrirangapatnam.

Not just a dungeon as when the prisoners were chained to the wall standing in a Christ pose the dungeon was filled with water up to chin height so you could basically never sleep. More information at the site would help.

This is the place where Tipu kept the British prisoners. The prisoners were tied to a stone slab and tortured. Definitely a must-see place for history enthusiasts.
