We took the train from Interlaken. With two changes, it's a beautiful train ride up to the top. As others have pointed out, it's expensive - easily >$200 per person. But, there's a lot that comes with it: the view from the train and the...More

Took a day trip package that covers the journey from Zurich to Bernese Oberland, Interlaken and finally to Jungfraujoch. The view from Jungfraujoch is AMAZING! Coming from Asia, this is the first time for me to experiencing falling snow and such cold (chilling) temperature. During...More

The real stars are the view at the top and the views in the 90 minute journey up and down the mountain-side. Once at the top there is a lovely, snowy walk, 90 minutes to the restaurant and back. And the viewing platforms. But it...More

This is worth the effort. From Interlaken you take the train to Grindelwald, Then another train to Kleiner Sheidig then another train up to Jungfraujoch. No one tells you that once you passed Grindelwald its a private company and your Swiss travel pass is useless....More

Of you're at the Jungfrau Joch, by all means go up to the Sphinx Observatory. And there is an elevator. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the Altesh Glacier.

I have visited Jungfraujoch in September and fine the weather to be good for great photos due to the bright sun . I would think about 3 days around there for small town hopping will be good.
