The views, as every comments on, were amazing. The price as an add-on to some other region package was high. The price for only a "Top of Europe" ticket was ridiculous. Before you go check the webcams to see how the view is - the day I went it was awesome, but I've heard on some days it's foggy, cloudy, etc. There were nine "tours" as they call them, or attractions. They are not tours but things to see/do. Check on these as well since some to many can be closed, and your admission price is the same! The Ice Cave, Observatory, and outdoor tour #9 (not easy to find) were the best. Awesome views - take lots of pictures. Enjoy it and try not to think of how much it's costing you!!!

This is understandably the most popular part of the Discovery Tour so it can become very crowded. We waited for a while and visited another part of the tour and when we returned it was noticeably less busy. We were fortunate that visibility was clear, allowing us to see the landscape at its best. It is very cold here (-6 when we visited), so do dress appropriately.

What an awesome and amazing experience to be here in the land of "whites"! It's a wonderful and great feeling that unless you are here, one will not be able to feel the power and beauty of our mother's nature!
Everywhere you see from here are all in white, i.e. mountains and lands covered by snow! And if you think Mt Titlis is already very tall and cold, you are wrong! This is even higher and colder.
After riding on the train that brings us here, we are in the land of snow or ice and everything we see, touch and feel, especially those who come from the tropical countries, it's really stunning!
It's cold though not as cold as we have expected, you can choose to stay indoors to enjoy the scenery or go outside to experience the snow yourself. For some, you may feel suffocated due to the lack of oxygen and if so, quickly go into the building but if possible, try at least to walk a while and experience the "once in a lifetime" snow tracking experience, seeing your footprints! Go slow and speak slow, you should be fine!
We enjoyed our walk here and do checkout my other reviews about Jungfrau here in the next few posts!
High recommended.

We first visited Jungfraujoch way back in 1995, and have never been back. We decided on a week in Wengen, and a return trip to Jungfraujoch. The train was predictably busy with tourists.
When we got off the train at the top, the restaurant area was chaos. Too many people squeezed in together. We went up to the sphinx observation tower, had a look around the summits, then went out on the glacier. I hiked up to Mönchsjochhütte and back. The cafe area was absolutely packed. We had a coffee each, a waste of money, is was the most expensive and crap coffee I’ve ever had, and went in the bin. Save your money and have a drink on the way down at Eigergletscher.
A must see trip, if you like doing it with most of the visitors to Switzerland at the same time.

This is the Top of Europe, the Sphinx Observatory. As the name suggests, this is a place from where you can view the snow capped mountains and the views are breathtaking. You can see it from the inside the Observatory or you can step out on the observatory viewing deck outside. You can feel the wind and chill . The feeling being out there is amazing. The air is thin, so take care of you and don't stay out for too long.
Also, take as many photos & video as you like as everything around is picturesque.

This is one of the many activities on Jungfraujoch and I would rate this as the best. We visited Jungfraujoch on a sunny and clear July morning/early afternoon and the panoramic 360 degree views of Eiger, Jungfrau and the glacier as seen from the Sphinx Observatory are truly spectacular.
A few tips based on my experience:
1) IMO, this should be the first attraction/activity you should do as soon as you reach Jungfraujoch.
2) Please take the elevator to the Sphinx observatory and plan on spending about an hour by going around the viewing platform, taking pictures and/or simply enjoying the views
3) Please be aware that it can get really crowded on clear and sunny days and please consider reaching Jungfrajoch no later than 10:00 am hours
4) If your schedule gives you flexibility, please DO NOT visit Jungfraujoch on an overcast day

Jungfraujoch is the highest peak in Europe and when you are up at Phoenix Observatory, it really feels that you are at the top of Europe.
It will take you a major part of the day to get there but it worth every minute.
We took the train from Interlaken East (OST) to Lauterbrunnen, where we took a pit stop and strolled around the town. We took the next train to Kleine Scheidegg and then the third to Jungfraujoch.
When you purchase the ticket, you will have the option to reserve a seat to and from Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfraujoch, which I highly recommended.
The entire journey is very scenic and keep your camera handy.
Once at the top, you have amazing views of the glacier from the observatory, keep a light jacket because the weather will be cooler at 3571 m above sea level.
Few pointers:
1. Have a look at the weather forecast.
2. Keep a light jacket with you.
3. Keep enough time to be able to break your journey at Lauterbrunnen/ Grindelwald (another town to catch the train to Kleine Scheidegg).
4. Keep approx. 2 hours when you reach the top.
5. Don’t forget to Enjoy.... it’s magnificent.

It's 3571 m above sea level and they have two lifts to bring you up. They have a souvenir shop up there but I mostly went up there for the view.
There is a lot of people but it was definitely worth the wait. A lot of people can get a little light headed from the lack of oxygen, but stepping out to the cold air can help. They have benches to seat on inside, and plenty of walking space outside. I will definitely like to visit again when I get the chance!

What they don't tell you is the train to the top is in a tunnel-for 50 minutes. The only outside space is a small platform packed with selfie stick swinging morons...and that's the best part of the attraction. You are trapped inside a badly signed underground nightmare with ill-mannered people who have never seen a rotary door operate or understand that elevators have limited space. God forbid there is ever an emergency-it is a death trap. All you observe here is a cheesy underground hole full of people you can't wait to escape - and you can't. Shudder

Dear Giadan146, you can catch the train starting from the Interlaken Ost. It then passes through Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen and Wengen. So it's up to you which way you'd like to head up to the Top of Europe.
