About
Work on your tan, admire endless coastline views, and have a splash at this isolated beach near Lefkada. You'll need to take a hike over some mild terrain to reach Milos Beach, but you'll be treated to amazing panoramas along the way. Otherwise, a taxi boat from Agios Nikitas Village is another option. There’s plenty of room to lounge along the stretch of shore, but bring along beach provisions like snacks and drinks as amenities are limited. For a full day of beach fun, you can also check out nearby beaches like Kathisma and Agios Ioannis Beach. – Tripadvisor

A true gen! An amazing beach -not that famous- in Agios Nikitas Lefkas. You can approach the beach on foot ( a hiking of 1km) or by boat from Agios Nikitas beach (€3 each way - no booking required). You got your umbrella as the beach is not organised and ideal get your water etc because the shop that exists in the beach is expensive.
The water is crystal clear and the colours will please even the most demanding visitor.

Walking from the neighbouring village takes about 15 minutes but be prepared for a rough track which is very steep in places, particularly on the descent down to the beach. There are plenty of shady spots to stop for a rest and to catch your breath and the effort is well worth it. The beach is stunning and the water is the most beautiful colour blue. Food and drinks on sale which are good quality and not excessively priced (considering the remote location).

Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. Shelves off very steeply and strong undertow.
We caught the water taxi which cost €20 each way for two adults and three young children!
The boats back were few and far between and when one finally turned up the scrum to get on it was horrible and to be honest, quite dangerous as everyone shoved and pushed to get on. Unless your children are very young or you have a lot of stuff I would recommend walking- we walked up to the top of the cliff to take photos and it wouldn’t have taken much longer to walk back!

Amazing beach with clear turquoise water and a beautiful landscape. There are two ways to reach it - by water taxi or with a short hike through a pine forest. The last fee meters of which are quite steep, but there are stairs and the path is not that difficult, plus you’ll get to enjoy the amazing views from above.
The beach is wide and long, mostly rocky, so wearing water boots would be a good idea. Pack water and some food, bring your umbrella and enjoy a perfect beach day.
There is a beach bar and umbrellas and chairs to rent (at 20 EUR for 2 chairs and umbrella).
The waves were pretty big, based solely on our visit, I would not recommend it for swimming.

Took the watertaxi and went to Milos. The vowe os breathtaking, one of the nicest beaches I went to. Pack everything you have in backpacks, so the hands are free for getting on/off the boat, holding children. Would reccomand water shoes instead of flip-flops.

The beach is enchanting but it is a struggle to reach it by land, the path is really steep and not at all comfortable, I do not recommend it if you have children. From the town beach there is a taxiboat that goes back and forth for 3/4 euros each but unfortunately we caught a day with rough seas and therefore they did not provide the service. I suggest taking a good look at the sea/wind forecast so as to reach the beach by sea. On the beach there is a very nice lido, 40 euros for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds, then there is a small bar but without a toilet or shower, the prices at the bar are high, on the other hand you are out of this world and they take advantage of it a bit.

Amazing beach with the typical blue green western lefkada water, plus sand dunes. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rent at an excessive price, but also free space if you want to bring your own staff. Boats from Agios Nikitas disembark near the sun beds, so if you put your umbrella on the other side of the beach you will enjoy some privacy. Attention: put a lot if sunscreen because the sun is reflected on the sand dunes and is extra strong

We took the water taxi (€3 each) from Agios Nikolas beach and that was the best part of it. Sun bed/parasol was €10 each and apart from a shack selling expensive drinks and food, that was it.
You need to go prepared with food and drink and lots of cover from the sun. The beach was nice enough, but I wasn't overly impressed.
We found The Deck Beachbar on the way out of Agios Nicolas towards Lefkas Town a much better place with decent grub, toilets, showers and sunbed/parasol €5 each for the day.
If you want seclusion, there are little beaches on the stretch between Agios Nicolas and The Deck which are stunning. You need to be prepared with food drink, parasols etc and happy to trudge a little way.

Wonderful beach, calm deep and clear waters, worth a day escape. If you are lucky and manage to park relatively close to the port of Agios Nikitas the process is easy. Frequent routes from the port without an appointment (as soon as full departure) and in 10 minutes you arrived, arranged and swimming. I do not recommend the path not for the distance (800 meters approximately), nor for the "black road" but because you have to go to the beach organized, with umbrella, fridge, supplies, towels etc and it is not worth carrying them. The boat takes 4€ per person and per route. Of course if you are a lot of people and you are not interested, put the weakest link with things in the boat and you take the path without weight. In addition there is a canteen on the beach, we did not visit it as it is high and what we bought until we downloaded it would warm up.
These, you will definitely not regret for this beach and if you have days ahead, you will repeat it!!!

By far the best beach on Lefkada. A little bit of effort is required to get here. Take the turning from the main village street and then it’s about a 20 minute walk up and over the hill.
We went early around 8am so not many people on the pathway but it gets busier later on as we found on our return. There is a boat from the village but it didn’t run on the day of our visit.
It’s a beautiful beach, shingle with clear water. The waves aren’t as rough as some of the other nearby beaches such as Avali beach.
No facilities here so take drinks and snacks

Θα ήθελα να μάθω αν κάποια ώρα της ημέρας πέφτει σκιά στην παραλία;

Γενικά όχι! Ειδικά από το μεσημέρι κ μετά χρειάζεσαι ομπρέλα οπωσδήποτε! Το ηλιοβασίλεμα πάντως είναι μαγικό! Αξίζει να την επισκεφθείς!

Τα καραβάκια από Άγιο Νικήτα κάθε πότε φεύγουν και από πού;
Written 7 August 2019

Hello we want the best family friendly beach in Lefkada, accessible by car, maybe organized?
Written 29 June 2019
Hi, if the children are small, you may go for the east coast beaches in Nidri, Nikiana and Ligia. It`s almost not wavy at all there and the waters are shallow(especially in Ligia). Ligia beach also has a lot of natural shadow from the trees. On top of that we would recommend also Micros Gialos and Dessimi beaches as kid and family-friendly. Have a great time in Lefkada!
