Great beer tasting, fab food too!

We did the beer tasting, and very good it was too! After deciding which beers, or in my case cider to go for we purchased the full sized glasses to enjoy. As we missed lunch we... read more

We went out looking for a winery and arrived at a Brewery! I must update my sat nav! Nah, only joking, the Winery is behind the Brewery, I just wasn't strong willed enough to walk past without calling in. And I'm glad I did! Couple of beers, and a plate of chips, and it was the biggest plate of chip... More

Had an awesome Sunday arvo here. The platters are fantastic. A meat platter to share was enough for 4 but we also included a cheese platter and 2 plates of chicken wings just to make sure. The beer sampler was a nice touch. Well worth a visit and they also provide transport home for $5 each way.

The Murray's Brewery has a very relaxed atmosphere with a multitude of beverage selections and a tasty menu to enjoy. The gift shop also sells the locally manufactured product. They have a range of games and sporting equipment to entertain the family while you sit and enjoy the ambience in a shady well maintained venue.

Killer BBQ food here and of course awesome beer. Gotta try the pulled pork and beef brisket. Lots of annoying kids around but worth the stop

Just the best Sunday lunch, the combo of the Pulled Pork Burger and a pint of Angry Man was just sensational. The burger had a great smoky flavor. I did think the whole layout and service was a little ordinary. However after finding out about their fire in the kitchen and it's all short term pop-up facilities they are doing... More

We decided to go for lunch yesterday- 5 of us. It was a warm day and the seating is all outside. We were fine, but it could be uncomfortable on a hot day. Friendly service. The menu could look like it's for carnivores (and their barbecue is fantastic) but there is something for everyone. Terrific range of beers too, as... More

Heading back from the in laws to Sydney and finally talked the family into stopping at lunch at Murray's. Wasn't great. First sign of danger was the wine tasting area having menus in Mandarin (I think) and yup, then they came. The coaches of tourists. Seems to be a lunch stop off for tours. Makes it loud and busy and... More

Hi Charlie. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience! I'm not sure if you are aware, but we recently had a fire which destroyed our cellar door, shop, dining area, kitchen... What you experienced was our temporary "pop-up" shipping containers and marquees which we've been quite happy and had excellent feedback, especially considering the season and it's crowds. No... We've been on a few brewery tours together and I really enjoyed going on the tour here with my boyfriend. We were driving past on the way to Nelson Bay and stopped in to try some local beers. We ended up leaving with a growler of the Melon Rouge and new insight into the Australian craft brewing industry. They've got... More

Went specifically to try the Angry Man pale ale. Excellent bouquet and taste. Hints of citrus and summer fruits. Dark Knight great to but Angry Man the best. Can buy cartons and six packs of all varieties they make at a reasonable price. Didn't try the meals and will return next time we are through this way as recent fire... More
