    The best day out!
I have been visiting Fishers Farm Park with my family for as long as I can remember (well over 20 years) and I now have the privilege of visiting with my own children. The farm is definitely one of the best and I love it each and every time. They are always developing and adding more rides and activities to the park which is great. Lots of animals, interactive activities, animal handling, tractor rides and indoor and outdoor play areas. Brilliant staff, kind, friendly, accommodating. The only thing I would say is how much the prices have gone up (about £20 for an adult ticket) however, sadly due to the increased cost of living it is understandable.
Thank you so much for your lovely review Isabelle! We love that you can now bring your own children here and are still enjoying coming to visit us :) We are consistently reinvesting in the rides and developing the park to maintain a fun, stimulating environment for the whole family and are so pleased your family love it! We are immensely proud of our staff here so thank you for your wonderful comments and taking the time to review us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! :)

The best farm we’ve been to
Just returned from a day at fishers farm. It was even better than I remembered from last year. So many different activities to do, loads more than the usual farm type attractions. I have a son with autism so for us we usually don’t spend more than 3-4 hours on a day out. We were there ALL day today! The Glow Barn was brilliant for him. We spent an hour and a half total in there today. The staff at fishers farm were fantastic that we spoke to. Little things make for a better experience… we arrived and went to go on the ghost train but the queue had closed and the man was loading up the last ride of the session. I asked him if there was room for 2 more. He said this ride was full but to wait and he would go around again so we could get on. He didn’t need to do that, but he did and it makes a fab impression of the farm. Also, the man who drove the tractor ride. His commentary was endearing, I could hear the enthusiasm he had for the animals in his voice! Lots of picnic benches as well to eat at (which is a rarity out and about) great big thumbs up to fishers farm! Also, I was surprised at how clean everything was! We can’t wait to return
What a wonderful review Laura, thank you so much for taking the time to write it, it means so much to us to hear our customers have had a lovely time, makes all the hard work worth it, we hope to see you all again soon x

A bit of fine tuning needed
Although the grandchildren had a good time, the fact that several of the free activities are not really suitable for younger/smaller children, the ringo slides in particular, both the higher single and lower multi slope slide, as the rings themselves are very heavy and difficult for the smaller children to carry up the steps without help. I don't know if there is a feasible solution for this but it would make visiting for grand parents or any adults who are not physically fit, a whole lot easier. Also with all the staffed activities only being open for half an hour at a time a couple of times in the day we spent a lot of time just standing in queues to make sure the children got a chance to take a turn. All the staff we interacted with were really good, polite helpful and positive but a few more on duty to keep the activities open for longer periods, or all day possibly, would have been a bonus as we did miss out on a couple of them due to long queues. There were four bumper boats in the small pool but only two were being put to use and the poor girl on duty there was having a hard time keeping on top of things, not really knowing what to do when one mother left a small child, 2-3 years old, standing on the side of the pool screaming and struggling while she took her other child on the boat. If not for a member of the public who took charge of the child I don't know what she would have done. A safety issue I feel, perhaps 2 staff members on duty would be a good idea?
Hi JackieBarb, Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us. We always welcome feedback so I'm sorry you felt unable to bring this to our attention at the time of your visit. The devils dyke descent requires under 5’s to ride with an adult and the red and black slopes at the mound also operates a 5yrs+ restriction with adult supervision essential. From a safety perspective the rings have to be made of a sturdy, durable material so we have limited flexibility here, but will absolutely look into your suggestion. We are very fortunate that lots of the team here have little ones themselves, so they are often very helpful in determining practicality for the younger age group. I'm sorry that on this occasion this attraction fell short of your expectations. Inset days are always a bit tricky here as we employ a lot of young staff who are available to work weekends and holidays but are often back at university and college on term-time weekdays. To prepare for this, we do employ extra staff either end of the holidays, and also offer the lower admission price of £16.95 (instead of £21.95) per person to compensate for the reduced timetable, but always with the intention of opening attractions for longer where possible to meet the demand of our customers. We always display our ‘What’s on Today’ timetable on our website so that an informed decision can be made prior to your visit should you wish to, however I do understand the disappointment if you weren’t aware of this. We will be holding a debrief meeting next week for the May half term, and I’ll ensure that all of your feedback is added to the agenda. Thank you for your suggestions and please feel free to contact us directly in future - we'd love to speak to you if you feel we've under-delivered on your expectations or can make improvements to enhance our customer experience. Our email address is info@fishersfarmpark.co.uk if you'd like to chat further with us. We hope to welcome you back to the park again soon!

Really good fun at a very low cost!
We visited with a party of 9 for my nephew's 3rd birthday. Of course he had a great time, but I think us adults had an even better time! You can really tell the staff love what they do, they are friendly, great with the kids and helpful doesn't even begin to explain it. A lot of these farm / attraction places charge you for entry and then you'll be paying for something new every 5 minutes, but at Fishers Farm the entry cost covers basically everything, and you can buy a couple of tokens if you want to try any of the attractions that need them - but most are free! There are picnic areas so you don't have to spend any money on food if you're prepared, however their food outlets aren't too expensive. I can't recommend this place enough, we'll definitely be back. Thanks Fishers Farm Park team!!
Thank you so much we really appreciate your reviews and hope to see you and your family again soon :)

I just love fishers farm park. We’ve been a few times and there’s so much to do. The splash park is great. The pony rides are great. Some things require additional payment but I don’t mind as they’re all fantastic activities.
Thank you so much for your wonderful 5* review! We are so pleased you and your family love coming here and we hope to see you again soon :)

    Good
Overall a great day out and place to visit, plenty to do foe my 6 and 8 year olds. I just found it a bit stressful having to think about the timings of some rides and being at places in time for rides. The cart on wheels ride needs to have a staff member at the top of the slope as the sledge/carts are really heavy, my 8 year was nearly taken out walking up the slope when a little girl got to the top and let go of her cart. They are heavy for adults let alone little ones trying to position them on the tracks!
Thanks for the review Claire and so pleased you enjoyed your visit to us! The Wagon Run is being carefully monitored as it's a new attraction so we'll certainly make and tweaks and adjustments if they're deemed necessary and appreciate the feedback. We recommend taking a screenshot of the timetable before you come to help plan your day. With over 40 different rides and attractions it's a challenge to fit it all in - sorry you found it stressful. We have holiday cottages here too, so you might like to try those one day and spread the visit out over two days and take your time enjoying the various things to do. All guests get free entry into the farm, so it might be worth considering? Thanks again for choosing to visit us and for the great feedback and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

    So much to do!
This place is amazing! I went with my 5 year old Granddaughter and there was endless things for her to do. Slides, rides, trampolines and bouncy pillows. Animals and pony rides for £2. Lots of picnic areas and places to get food and drink. Some rides have time slots and these work like clockwork with efficient friendly staff. Would come again

    Worth a visit
What a lovely farm to visit with so much to do. We came for the Christmas experience and panto and were not disappointed. Father Christmas was lovely with the children. They also got to make their reindeer food and ice and decorate a gingerbread man and then go through to a lovely area jam packed with toys to choose from. After a lovely reasonably priced lunch it was off to play and then panto time. Probably about 45 mins long which was perfect for young children. Our 3 and 7 year olds loved it. Fantastic indoor play areas as well. Only criticism was general public not putting their rubbish in one of the many bins - just expecting others to clear up after them. Really felt we had value for money and have said we will definitely revisit. Well done Fishers Farm. Happy Christmas to all your hard working staff who gave us a great day x
Thank you for your 5* review, we look forward to welcoming you back soon! We hope you are all feeling very festive and ready for Christmas

We love Fishers, it is amazing!
Fishers Farm is a truely magical place that is 100% centred around bringing joy to children whilst making it fun for adults too. We went to the Christmas Pantomime which did not disappoint. The cast were made up of the Fishers Farm family, they had us laughing from the get go with some surprises along the way. To be honest it was better than our local panto by a mile. During the day the farm is full of different activities for children of all ages, come rain come shine there is plenty to do. The farm is family run and you really feel the love they have for providing the best experience possible. We have been many times and it’s amazing to see how the farm is always evolving with new activities and animals. I cannot recommend the farm more highly, amazing attraction, friendly staff and very good value for money.
Thank you so much for your review. So glad you had such a magical time and especially happy to hear you enjoyed the pantomime, the staff really enjoy performing for such great audiences . We hope you are feeling very merry and ready for Christmas. Looking forward to seeing you back at the farm very soon.

    Fab! As always!
We absolutely LOVE Fishers Farm! We have been on many occasions, including their fantastic Christmas Santa experience. The park staff are always smiling, helpful and keen to share their knowledge of the animals. We never come away feeling ripped off as most things are included in the more than reasonable entrance price. It is a farm so yes sometimes things are closed and yes it’s muddy during winter but that has never stopped us having the best day. The piglets we saw today that were born this week were a real highlight! Can’t wait to see them in the pig racing in the summer. Don’t change Fishers Farm or become commercial and expensive! We love you just the way you are.
Thank you so much for your fantastic 5* review! We're soo pleased to hear that you and your family love visiting us and that the good old English weather doesn't stop you! We hope to welcome you back to the park again soon - perhaps when all our other spring animals are born :)

We visited with my cousin and her two children during the Easter holidays. My son has just turned 2 and her children are 6 and 11. One of the best things about FF is that there are a wide variety of rides and activities available for all age ranges. There were not huge queues for things and the special events were spaced out during the day. This really makes a difference to the overall experience. (We had recently been to CBeebies land and my son only managed to do one activity.
The farm has plenty to see and do). The tokens idea to pay for little activities is brilliant. Reasonably priced and we ended up not spending them all. Some rides are free and my son loved the little train and asked to go on it several times!
There are lots of places to eat and drink with spaces to sit together; also not the case in other establishments.
It is clean and well-maintained.
My cousins son went missing for about 20min which sent her into a panic but the staff were all radioed instantly and he was found very quickly.
I can’t recommend FF enough for families with all ages. We will definitely be returning!

We have 3 children aged 8, 5 and nearly 2, and there was something for all of them. There is plenty to do between the animals and activities. When we went most recently it was fully booked yet it didn’t feel too crowded. We have been a few times and will definitely be back.

Nimbus Access card +1 DOES NOT SERVE PURPOSE!
Fishers farm park SHOULD rather clearly state on their website and ticket price area "full tickets need to be paid for disabled child/ren and for the carers", rather than this foolery of access card etc.,

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We have joined forces with the team at Nimbus to help create a hassle-free check-in experience for all visitors with additional needs. The Access Card is an award-winning service that allows disabled customers to quickly and discreetly inform us of the support that they may require during their visit with us. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback L7413WGlousier. I’m sorry to read of your disappointment with our cashless system onsite. We decided to become cashless when we re-opened after COVID to prevent the spread of germs and infection and have continued to operate in this way to date as it’s still a much cleaner but also speedier way for us to operate as a business. Lots of our outlets are catering based, so handling money is less than ideal, and requires continual handwashing. This of course increases queue time for our customers. The same applies for the admissions to the farm park, and the queues have drastically reduced since the change. The Rollings family have run the farm park now for more than 30 years and have sadly been targeted more than once for burglaries over the years. Going cashless removes this risk as there is no longer cash onsite, and therefore so much safer for us, the team and the family living onsite. We have ensured our website is up to date with related information, along with your booking confirmation and a notice just outside reception to avoid any disappointment at the door for those who may have chosen not to book. As with any decision that we’ve made over the years, we appreciate that they all come with pros and cons, and we will certainly take your feedback onboard. Please accept our utmost apologies for any disappointment caused and we really hope we can welcome you here again in the future.

My five year old daughter is a wheelchair user with blue badge photographic ID. Despite pretty much every public venue in the UK accepting this as proof of disability, Fishers Farm refused carers entry. Incredibly embarrassing experience which left everyone in tears. This was made worse by the fact none of the attractions are remotely accessible for wheelchair users. This company only cares about making money and makes everything as difficult as possible for those with a disability. Left feeling humiliated and patronised - with all dignity taken away. Please re-consider your inflexible policies and your impact on customer inclusivity.

Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us and I’m so sorry to read of your disappointment with our essential companion ticketing. We have done a great deal of research into how we can make Fishers more accessible and have teamed up exclusively with Nimbus Disability, creators of Access Card. The 'Access Card' scheme is an award-winning company created by disabled people for disabled people to enable a hassle-free check-in experience for all visitors with additional needs and inform us of the support that they may require during their visit with us. Over the last few years we’ve invested heavily in making all of the walkways around the farm park tarmacked and much easier for wheelchair users than the gravel we’ve always had here historically. We are currently planning a new Family ‘Changing Places’ style toilet facility as our Autumn project and we recently added a wheelchair accessible changing hut at The Splash Attack following customer feedback. In the last two years we designed a new barn called ‘The Glow Barn’ which is often popular with a number of our customers with additional needs or disabilities. We are consistently learning, listening and developing on how we can make the Park more accessible, but always welcome suggestions. Some of the ideas we’ve had is adding an accessible swing and adjusting the access to the tractor ride and ghost tunnel. Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us, and please do send us any suggestions you might have following your visit. We always welcome customer feedback and are grateful for your comments.

We visited Fishers Farm today (18th December 2023) after booking in early November for the Grotto.
For £85 we received a ticket for the park and grotto for 2 adults, a child under 2 and a child over 2.
The park is always clean and the staff (all between 18 and 20 it seems) are always friendly. Due to the winter season, many of the attractions are limited: pony rides limited to 1 per day etc which means you have to be on the ball with getting in the queue early.
The Santa experience was so disappointing. We were at the front of the queue, held in a ‘candy cane’ outside area for 10 mins after the allotted time. When we were let in, I was so excited for my children to have their time with Santa. The room is beautiful, it’s so cosy and smells lovely. However once we sat down it became suddenly apparent that other families would be joining us. In total, there were 5 families in the room and 11 kids. We had to wait while each child was spoken to before we could proceed to the next activity. Not great when one of your children has already had enough and wants to leave.
It would have taken 5 minutes per family to have an independent interaction and it would have been wonderful.
Instead, my husband and I felt cheated.
