We spent about three hours here and took the guided tour of the property. It was well worth the time, the guide was great and the history unforgettable.

Beautiful area of South Lake Tahoe with history of the area. A good place to see how the forests looked before intense logging of the area changed the dominant tree type in the early 1900's.

Lovely lake side walk with history thrown in! very pretty views and the houses were lovely to see. IT is an extensive area, so leave time to see it all.
