We took this trip on our first day in Lake Tahoe area and learned a lot about the history of the area. The cruise was relaxing and took you straight across the lake to emerald cove and vikingsholm. Great views of the house and island in this beautiful cove. For a great picture of the paddle boat time your trip... More

This is a great way to see the Lake and Emerald Cove by water. If the boat seems crowded on top before departure then don't worry because people tend to move around and spread out during the trip. Travel around the boat and see different aspects of the view. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on Lake... More

The Tahoe Queen sightseeing cruise is a a fun afternoon trip and can be informative if you sit in a location where you can hear the speakers. Even without listening to the presentation, the scenery and beautiful views are amazing! This cruise is worthwhile for the first time visitors who want to know more about this beautiful lake. Plenty of... More

We did the evening cruise which left at 6.00 p.m. A glass of champagne to welcome you on board. Great music. Country & western. Dinner was on a higher deck. The food was good but a bit on the cold side. The plates are not heated. Unfortunately it got dark very quickly & we couldn't really see the shore line.

The tour lasted about 2.5 hours across Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay. Nice scenery, The day was cool and windy so outside wasn't an option. It's an ok way to spend a few hours. The ticket prices are high. You pay a fee to park. Food and drink is available on board, again pricey. Oh and they take your picture... More

Took the Tahoe Queen for the 2 hour cruise and enjoyed the ride over to the island loop and back. Had a few drinks and enjoyed the history given by the captain throughout the ride. Nice breeze helped as well. Take your hat and sun screen!

The Tahoe Queen is not operating but you can still take a dinner cruise on the MS DIXIE. It's expensive at $85 per person. The salmon entree got high marks, the steak was huge and just ok but the chicken was not edible. No one in our party had the pasta option. After dinner they have live music upstairs and... More

Tahoe Queen caught fire on 08/16 and is currently out of commission. No estimated time of repair or if it will even be repaired.

We wanted to see as much of the Lake Tahoe area as we could in in one day, and taking a boat ride let us both relax and enjoy the scenery from the best vantage point- the clear blue/green water of the lake. The Captain of the Tahoe Queen related so much interesting information about the lake and history of... More
