This is a great trail. Ample parking. Close to town. Trail is well marked. Moderate difficulty. But the views are fantastic. The higher you go the better the views. Then comes a lovely walk in the forest.
Ran 7 miles in loops, nice area! Shady and rocky, lots of trees, great views if you climb the rocks. I went early so not as many people but I imagine get busier later in the day. I found parking close by.

It is a Bi-State park because it goes both ways... Ca and Nv. On the Nv side you can catch the rim trail and hike up to a waterfall. (It is really just a creek pouring over some rocks so don't get you hopes up)....More

Just finished hiking this park and well worth it!! Not too steep (hiking poles not necessary) and the views are amazing! Remnants of fire in 2002 but still spectacular. Different trails (elevation and distance) we did all.
