It is a holy place especially for the Greek Orthodox people. People from all over the island visit this place and pray. People from various religions come here to light candles hoping and praying for their wishes to come true.

We could only admire the harmonious design of this church from the outside. In contrast close by is a modern rather uninspiring mosque.

Situated right at the end of the island, this lovely old church is steeped in history and surrounded by roaming donkeys, well worth a cost when top in the diakarparz.

Beautiful architecture but the church was locked at the time of my visit and it doesn't look like it's open very often. Looks dilapidated inside.

After the 1974 the Greeks of Rizokarpaso have stayed in this village and they live in coexistence with the locals.

Great church, great location, great place! Beautiful Greek church: the visit is quick but worth the time, the view of the Dipkarpaz area equally stunning...highly recommended!
