There is no question this is a great course but the green fees are a little heavy even after 1pm, and then you need to add a cart. It's a course to spoil yourself with a round but not one you can afford to play...More

Great course but no Marshall keeping groups moving. 5hrs 30min round because of slow play. Will not play again on a Saturday.

Although down the pecking order with the likes of the National and Moonah Links this was a real joy to play. A natural links course with lots of elevated tees, cavernous bunkers, a slippery greens to provide an enjoyable challenge. A must play for any...More

My favourite course down the peninsula. St Andrews Beach is reasonably priced (for an awesome course) and offers great design. Pleasing to the eye the course isn’t frighteningly long, but still very challenging. Undulating fairways and greens. The course is in great condition - including...More

I visited with a group of 12 mates and played St Andrews Beach on day 1 of 4, followed by Moonah Links Open and 2 days at Cape Schanck. In my opinion St Andrews Beach was the standout! It’s a tough, aesthetically beautiful course that...More

First time playing here, staff are friendly, course is well kept. Do your self a favour and make sure you get a golf cart, between holes can be long and quite up and down.

Played there with some mates. We had carts. Staff were more friendly this year. Course in very good nick but I reckon the moonshine courses and the dunes have better fairways. Course is a brute but very challenging.

For a public course it is amazing. Greens are fast and true and fairways well cared for. Course design is great although a few too many dog legs. Only took just under 4 hours to play round this could be because it was a Tuesday....More

Top top links course built on 30 feet of sand. Really testing venue, pay and play. VFM unparalleled and they look after their guests very well indeed. When we were there the course was anything but busy too.

St Andrews Beach is undoubtedly a wonderful course. The layout is superb, although there are probably a few too many "blind" shots. Spectacular teeing areas - the first; the 17th and the 18th readily spring to mind as offering extraordinary golfing views - generally good...More

Yes... Usual golf course polo shirt and Button shorts. Flats and golf shoes are fine. No hard spikes.
