It's hard to choose between several places in this delightful location, but our guide book suggested this one. Usually we walk on by when approached by a waiter, but we were keen to try a fish platter, so relented. After initial enthusiasm from Jesus, the service was slow but when our fish and shellfish platter arrived, all was forgiven. We... More

Came here years ago, before it was "commercialised" although that sounds like they charge, but they don't not even for the car park. Back then you could approach from the other side and get close up to the El Lago Verde. If you look you can see it is now fenced off, maybe they had some accidents! However if you... More

We took a chance on Lago Verde and immediately felt welcome Jesús our waiter was so attentive and had a great sense of humour . He explained with great passion the different types of fish on the menu . We were so blown away at the perfect flavours of simple traditional cooking - no one flavour overpowered the natural taste... Part of the Lanzarote Discovery Tour, was good to see and told how it came about. Had 15 minutes there to take pictures which was enough time, I think this was because the small village next to it was closed that day for the Three Kings Festival.

It is a wonderful place on the sea shore. It is the part of a crater of an ancient vulcan on the sea. A part of the crater disappeared in the sea and left a wonderful beach with a full green lake. Don't miss it!

Well worth a visit. Best in the afternoon for the colour in the lake. Short walk from free car park. Also do go up the path onto the headland on the right for fantastic views all along the coast. Best of all it is free.

The lake itself is fine, it's green, but not such a miracle of nature as the adds like you to believe. Go at sunset, because the colour of the lake cannot be seen with the sun's bright reflection. Also, at sunset, it is really nice to be at the beach below and watch the sea, the sky, the red rocks... More

A lovely place to visit because of the natural lake and lava flows, followed by a seafood or fish lunch right beside the breakers.

This is a great place to see. We arrived there kind of late and because the sun wasn't so strong we weren't able to see the lake colour so good, but we experienced the best sunset there. We've eaten in one of the village restaurants and had a great meal for a fair price.
