I would recommend this place, very highly, if you are interested in wine. Step daughter bought us a tour. Our guide, Roland, was extremely knowledgeable and even patiently answered even the most stupid questions. A very nice lunch with 3 English cheeses and then onto the tasting. Now I am a staunch red drinker, mainly high end Riojas and rarely drink white. I had some bad experiences in the 70's with white wines, this put me off. I must say that English wines have come of age, the selection we tried were fabulous, the sparkling ones were superior to most champagnes. I am happy to recommend the tour and the wines. The only downside was the weather, it was freezing with ice everywhere, pick a warm day and you will enjoy the tour.

We went to the vineyard tour and cream tea. The tour was so informative and David the hat also made it lots of fun. The wine tasting was great. They make such lovely wine. I liked everyone that I tasted. The cream tea was lovely with a variety of cakes too. This place is rustic and has great character. I would recommend a visit

We enjoyed every minute of our wine tasting visit. Our guide was very friendly very knowledgeable highly humorous . Our Lunch was really tasty and there was plenty of it. I would highly recommend Carr Taylor Vineyard .

What a wonderful morning, learning about the vineyard and sparkling wine production from their expert Malcolm, followed by a tasting of all of their sensational wines and then lunch. A great morning out and highly recommended. Educational and fun.

An enjoyable morning walking around the winery with Malcolm who was informative, approachable and amusing. I loved the ambience of the old buildings and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The tasting was interesting with the different aspects of the wines explained fully. Lunch was very tasty and was taken outside under a convenient shady tree. Overall a great experience.

Had a wine tasting and afternoon tea as a birthday present. We had a lovely time and lots of information about the tour and a good laugh with the tour guide. He had plenty of stories and we had an enjoyable afternoon. The cakes were lovely and it was such a relaxing afternoon.

Great tour and wine tasting with a lovely ploughman’s lunch. Our tour guide was fantastic Only criticism I had was soft drink I was offered (designated driver) with my lunch was a very small carton of orange juice! Perhaps a nice sparkling water or local apple juice (in a glass) could be used

We had an amazing time at Carr Taylor’s Vineyard tour. Firstly we had a very amusing but informative tour of the vineyard with Malcolm followed by a wine tasting of the various sparking and still wines they produce. Afterwards Deborah and Sue put on a hearty ploughman’s spread and helped with our purchases of wine. The tour and lunch lasted a couple of hours and I would highly recommend the vineyards.

To celebrate our Ruby anniversary we hosted a private tour for 18 people to this working vineyard. David our guide was very informative and made the tour and tasting fun and enjoyable. He is clearly passionate about his wines. Verity & Maggie prepared a delicious lunch for us that we were able to enjoy outside. Booking the tour was very easy and Tom was very helpful with any questions I had. All our guests said how much they enjoyed the visit and several bought wine. Would thoroughly recommend.
