Had a lovely couple of hours tasting English wines and touring the vineyards, followed by a lovely lunch of cheese, paté and crusty bread washed down with a glass of wine. Very informative tour guide, friendly catering staff, lovely food, and very nice wine, particularly the sparkling. Family business which means you get a very personal service from them. As... More

We popped in just to have a nose around... Welcomed with open arms, so we stopped for a few glasses of wine and an amazing ploughmans lunch. We will definitely be returning for the full tour, yet will sure to book direct as we found it's 1 cheaper and 2 the vineyard benefit more than if booking through a 3rd... More

Great tour led by Dave (Hat). Learned a lot and in a humorous way from this personable and friendly guide. A small, working and very successful vineyard. Customer orientated. Great tasting of 5 wines pre-lunch and as many as you liked afterwards. No pressure to leave. Lunch was a rustic and ample buffet. Salad, cheeses, French bread, pate, etc etc.... More

Went along with our Groupon Voucher today and was thoroughly entertained by 'David the Hat', who was both informative and funny. The tour of the vineyard to reasonably short, but a lot of information is shared in that time. The wine tasting consisted of five wines, with clear tutoring given by David and there were also notes on each wine... More

My husband and I went for the vineyard tour and wine tasting with a few other family members and it was a lovely way to spend a few hours! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I was in a wheelchair/crutches and the tour guide was very considerate and kept making sue I was okay and comfortable. The tour... More

I'd bought the wine tour and lunch as a gift for OH. We live less than an hour away so good for a day trip. We had a great time: our guide, Dave the Hat, was informative and fun. The wine tasting was excellent (ask about his ding a ling) as was the buffet lunch. We too bought wine to... More

I went here with my daughter on a vineyard tour and wine tasting with lunch. We had a guide called Dave "The Hat" and older gentleman full of knowledge and passion for his work and the vineyard. When we arrived the first appearance is "rustic", and it is, but do not be put off just by appearances, the tour was... More

After contacting Mark and booking a space with our motorhome we arrived mid afternoon. All was then peaceful after a busy wine tour. Still the lovely lady, (sorry didn't get her name) was so helpful she invited us to try the sparkling wines and fruit wines. We fell in love with the elderberry and bought a rosè sparkling and a... Couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday. Tasting lovely wines and being educated in their making in a lovely setting of a fully working vineyard. Our guide David "the hat" was very knowledgable and amuseing in his tales. We started the day with tea coffee and biscuits followed by our tour and wine tasting and finished with... More
