This 'attraction' seems to showcase the best and worst of a small family concern. If you are really interested in wine, especially English wine, you can ignore the untidiness; small dilapidated buildings; small samplings; and general air of confusion, coupled with very difficult parking. Otherwise...More

Went with my brother, for a wine tour & tasting, but not for a meal. We were made welcome when we arrived, and the coffee and cake were very nice. However, once the tour started, on what was avery rainy day, we were led into...More

The vineyard tour is good fun, although not always very informative. The grounds and outbuildings are a mess and there is are trip hazards everywhere. All the equiptment looks durty. Tour guide packed out his talk with unsuitable jokes, but also had sone interesting facts....More

Nothing to add about 'content' from previous reviews; overall very good. Only thing that jarred was being encouraged to leave a tip for David (with the hat) and the other staff. It already costs £20 per person for a tour (with guide), 3 small glasses...More

We went along today as we had been given a tour voucher as a gift. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The tour was carried out in a relaxed but very informative way and we came away much better informed about wine than when...More

We arrived a little early for our wine tour which was no problem for the friendly staff who welcomed us. The tour started with coffee and biscuits, followed by a brief history about the family who own and work at the vineyard. Dave our tour...More

The Wine Tasting Tour is good fun and informative. The farm is surprisingly small and the facilities seem a little disorganised, but perhaps that is really it's charm. A small family run business with limited capital producing a good product which they passionately believe in....More

I'm not yet converted to English wine but I've been meaning to visit here since I moved to East Sussex and only live 10 minutes away. Arrive in plenty of time as there aren't a huge number of car parking spaces. Our guide for the...More

We were thinking of staying so contacted Carr Taylor vineyard direct and they emailed me lots of options. In the end I needed to get back for the following day so did not stay. Give them a call they are very helpful.
