About
The Beach is very nice. Easily accessible from main Pier. There are a few restaurants with different range of prices. Good place to stay longer for party people as there are parties here almost every night. If You are a couple that wants to relax better stay at more quiet places as it is hard to sleep at night.

Lovely side of the island , soft white sand and warm sea that is shallow with little tide ebb and flow , I stayed at Beach Walk which was excellent, people cleaned the beach daily but on walking to the other side of the pier there are more hostel / tent type accommodations and sadly it didn’t seem that anyone regularly cleaned the beach, so a lot of tidal and other , mostly plastic , rubbish . Such a shame , ruins a good walk….

Shallow water with white sand, edged by a couple of small hotels and hostel, but littered with rubbish. About 30 minutes walk from Koh Tuch through the jungle path

Mixed feelings about this place . We travel around the world for at least 7 months of the year. We are not old farts or fogies - well - not that old ! And definitely young at heart. We have been travelling on this particular adventure since January 3rd starting off in Hanoi and have travelled extensively southward coming to Cambodia. We go to Siem Reap next then probably Thailand.

The positives of this Resort :
Location is great. Beautiful beach , white powdery sand , warm clear sea. Which of course is little to do with or in the control of the Hotel. Plenty of comfortable sun beds. Restaurant food and atmosphere good , ice cold draught beer. Comparatively reasonable prices.
The negatives :
For the price , the rooms are very basic and small. No luxurious touches whatsoever. No good toiletries- bare plaster walls & floors which of course seems to be a local design feature. Pokey. The room safes /security boxes , whilst a welcome addition, are small and can not accommodate larger items such as iPads or Laptops - which many people bring with them these days. Our room had no view except a fence bordering the property , and had public , not hotel Guests , walking past at all times of the day & night. We did ask for a twin bedded room but were told there was no availability. Perfectly fine as a base. Clean - a comfortable bed. But the price doesn’t reflect the fact that the room is just a base. We have had no working TV since arriving here. We are told it’s an island wide issue . I fully appreciate you don’t come on holiday to watch TV - however, we like to watch a film or maybe catch up on news before going to sleep. It is a feature/service of the resort which we looked for and chose and are paying for. No one seems overly bothered about this lack of this facility. I realise it may not be the fault of the Hotel not in their control.
We also had a silly issue in the Hotel Restaurant last night. We had intended having dinner there. We chose the mixed Turf plate for each of us. Couldn’t quite understand why there was a Surf plate and a Turf plate - but no Surf & Turf offering ? Maybe I am being over picky here ? It was offered with a complimentary drink , wine or beer. We asked if we could substitute the alcohol for a soft drink as we had overindulged the day before ! We were told by the waiter that he would have to ask his manager- which we thought was slightly odd - however ? I wonder if an older child or young adult wanted this particular menu item , must they have wine or beer as the complimentary drink instead of being allowed a soft drink - or just forgo the complimentary drink ? Ridiculous ! He returned and said no we couldn’t do this “ because of the system “ ? We then chose to go elsewhere to eat. There’s plenty of other restaurants nearby to choose from. We had a nice dinner in a resort restaurant on the beach just 5 minutes walk . It’s absolutely absurd that we couldn’t have a soft drink instead of alcohol. Even more absurd that it wasn’t offered on the menu in the first place, but that’s their prerogative of course. It seems the fact that we are paying customers has been totally disregarded or forgotten. As a consequence of this pretty minor matter we didn’t spend around $50 in their restaurant- and were left feeling unhappy and dissatisfied. Very poor Customer care and total lack of Customer satisfaction. Certainly taken the edge off our stay here. It seems there is little or no guidance and leadership with the staff, or poor training. We have another 2 nights but will not be making use of the Hotel Restaurant on principle after last nights debacle. Leaves a sour taste on what would have been an enjoyable - if overpriced stay .

We visited so many island around the world and we cant believe how dirty is this Island? Really? one of the best activities to do in the island is to go clean the beaches? So we came from the other end of the world because we fall in this trap and one option because its not many on this island is to go clean the mess?

This beach was the second beach we visited, was really really dirty (see pictures and wave). On the main beach its too many motorbikes passing on then sand and we are were afraid that will hit our 2 year old so we visited the next beach (Long Set) which was too too dirty.

Thinking to leave the island immediately and loose the money instead of ruining our holidays and losing our time.

The most beautiful, calm and lonely beach on Koh Rong. Perfect place to relax with. Great views, beautiful sunset.
