This is a real gem ! Judith is a great at telling you about every plant and sculpture and the development of the garden, which has been lovingly planted and cared for. We could have listened to her all day! Each area of the garden is different and even though it was coming to the end of the growing season, there was still plenty of interest. Access and parking is a little tricky , down a narrow lane but it is well worth the effort.

Wonderful experience! We arrived a bit hot and bothered as we had arrived by bus and taken an incorrect turn which took us the long way round. The garden is full of interesting sculptures and the most beautiful plants. Judith and her husband work so hard to keep the garden looking good. It was just like a haven of peace and calm. Very inspiring, and filled us with joy!

What a unique experience to visit Judith Queree’s garden in St Ouen. From the bog gardens, to the wildlife field and beautiful sculptures, it is a real treat to visit. We did not take advantage of a personalised tour, but I will return again and take one. Heart warming experience.

We loved our visit to Judith and Nigel’s garden. So many beautiful plants, a hidden gem of a restored house and lots of clever sculptures to see. Meeting Judith and hearing how they stumbled across the derelict property in The 1970’s makes you feel even more humble when realising how much time and effort they have put in. Would love to visit a few weeks earlier another year to see the garden at a different time. It was the absolute highlight of my five days in the island! Thanks Judith.

I visited Judith's garden with my sisters and mum yesterday and it was fabulous. I don't know how anyone could be disparaging about it. The house and garden is located in a picturesque and secluded spot, and the story of how it came about and evolved is endearing. Judith is very welcoming and friendly, her knowledge and is amazing, and she and her husband Nigel are very much a team. The chocolate box house has been lovingly preserved and is an integral part of the garden, sitting amidst a blanket of familiar and also unusual plants and flowers. The garden flows from a meadow to a little more structured garden around the house and out to a wet unruly area, all of which has it's own story. I loved the art work dotted around and the little surprises around each corner. There are chickens and geese, and everything is cultivated with the birds and the bees in mind. I will definitely go back myself again, and will take our visitors there.

This is the second time we have been fortunate enough to visit Judith’s garden and once again we left feeling inspired.

The surroundings are so peaceful and the gardens are full of plants from all over the world and a variety of artefacts that all blend in so well. It is well worth doing the tour so that you can hear how and why so many features in the gardens’s evolved.

Judith and Nigel are great hosts and make their guests feel welcome. Questions are welcomed and answered frankly and there is so much for even an experience gardener to learn.

I think you will find that tours are by prior arrangement - check out Judith’s web site.

My husband and I visited this garden last week just before returning to the airport for our flight home. It was a quiet and (very hot) day and Judith and her husband were happy for us to just wander around on our own (there were no guided tours that day) and were both pleased to discuss the garden and answer any questions we had; in fact we chatted for ages about all manner of subjects, including the chickens, they were both very interesting and knowledgeable about their plants. We both think this is the nicest private garden we have visited, it was a lovely activity to end our time in Jersey and has given us some inspiration for our own garden. The planting schemes and variety of plants are excellent; the live chickens etc as well as the wire animals, and shepherd's hut, we thought were great and we loved the sculptures; it was quirky and fun and very elegant. We hope to visit again. Thank you to Judith and her husband for a very enjoyable visit.

I visited Judith's garden on a sunny day with a small group - only five of us - and were introduced to husband Nigel and shown round the garden by the enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly owner.

In spite of a few reviews to the contrary, the plant collection is comprehensive and interesting and I saw many plants that I'd never come across before. There were a number of chicken wire animal and bird sculptures and many live chickens too! If you enjoy talking plants with a kindred spirit then visit Judith's garden. If you prefer bedding plants then go to the park! Thank you Judith.

I visited Judith Queree's garden whilst doing a botany course and found it to be a most inspiring garden. The location is very unique, inviting a beautifully laid out. There are some extremely tasteful sculptures from an almost life like donkey you think is watching you to a scary monk who you would not like to meet on a dark night. Judith's knowledge is amazing and as there were some German tourists on our tour she switched easily from English plant names to German and even some of the much harder and rarer names. She has gone the extra mile to welcome overseas tourists and the two ladies I spoke too said how charming the garden was and how great that she took the trouble to learn all the German plant names and relevant info. 10/10 from me as I found her to be most amenable and when you hear about how many years and how much work she and her husband have put into their little spot of heaven you just cannot help but have tremendous admiration and also be a little envious as arriving there on foot from the little village of St Ouen's is like a magical adventure stepping into a fairytale or onto a film set.
