St John the Baptist is a very fine piece of Victorian architecture and probably the main sight in Loughton. It is about 20 minutes walk from Loughton station and on the 20 and 167 bus route.

A lovely church and very welcoming to all visiting whether young or old. Our grandchild was christened at this church and it was a truly beautiful day.

This church stands just above the town centre. It is very beautiful inside and out. It was a sad occasion for me as it was a funeral but everything went well, I was very impressed. I think it very suitable for weddings too.

This church is really amazing inside, the alter reminds me of Russia and the Tsar all very gold and splendid. It has a lovely calm atmosphere. I am so looking forward to the ceremony in March 2013. Will write new review then.

This is a beautiful church and a lovely setting for a wedding. The vicar was very friendly and made the service very enjoyable, being serious and funny when appropriate.

A lovely place to worship. In particular the family service is great, which integrates the children into the service, rather than sending them away into separate rooms.
