Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took the Ferry to Hobsonville Point and back which was a good hour on the boat. We checked departure times to match the return time to the city, so we didn’t need to get off the boat. The kids really enjoyed seeing our beautiful harbour.

Visit the Auckland Harbour and get out on the water. So much to visit and do. Tiri Tiri Island walks to climbing Rangitito Volcanic Island. The yachts the boating or just relaxing on a beach. We spent most of the time just looking around. Devonport area to Long bay. Plenty of good cafes and coffee.

because for all intents and purposes the same things apply. The Harbour is part of the gulf, where one ends and the other begins is beyond me! Oh and the map location showing next to this is totally wrong. It's in Auckland, not Wellington.

Waitematā Harbour which has the Auckland Harbour Bridge cross over it, is also known as the Auckland Harbour and is a very pretty harbour.

Waitematā Harbour connects the main port and the city waterfront to the Hauraki Gulf and the Pacific Ocean.

We enjoyed the great 360 degree views when we travelled on Fuller's Ferry to the beautiful island of Waiheike.

The harbour provides the perfect backdrop to your views around the city or it can be the feature of any beach visit along Tamaki Drive or any of the inner North Shore beaches. Often covered in yachts the harbour is always changing and the harbour bridge stands centre stage across it.

Seeing the harbor aboard a sail boat was a great experience. Unfortunately there were none of the famous Aukland gales blowing so we drifted more than sailed but it was still enjoyable!

It is a beautiful harbor which has the luck to be sheltered (mostly) by the Hauraki Gulf. It's a shame there is not more transport on it, like there is in Sydney. You usually see someone sailing.

Nice trip around the Auckland Harbour with free muffin, tea or drink. Trip for all ages. Commentary about the history of places could have been a bit more fun which would’ve intrigued me and would’ve kept me engaged. For most couples on board that day it was like being on the titanic and taking many photos on the top deck like jack & rose at the front of the boat. Romantic outing for couples.

Beautiful harbour with fantastic views of the Auckland skyline and at the top end views of Auckland harbour bridge. Pleasant walk with an abundance of bars and restaurants to cater for most tastes and budget from fish and chips to fine dining. Well worth a visit and have a drink and watch the world go by.

Harbour is a great place to walk and a jumping off for Ferries, tours, adventure etc.

There are restaurants all along the way and the harbour stretches for a long distance for Britomart to Silo Park.

Lots of bars and restaurants along the way and places for the kids to play
