Beautiful forest and waterfall. Easily viewed just a short walk from parking lot (on path to left of toilets) or cross the foot bridge and walk a trail for higher viewpoint, or to see from opposite bank. Afterwards be sure to stop at John Hill...More

Popular among the locals and out of town folks, amazing bush walk to the reservoir (medium to hard) or to the Kauri Grove. Have a family picnic all day by the falls if hiking sounds taunting.

We went there the first time and found out the longer walks are great for our fitness. The first twenty minutes were up and up through the bush. We liked it and will be back.

The tracks here are stunning, but unfortunately it had been raining for three weeks and it wasn't an option this visit. Recommended for the walking.
