We visited Craftworld enroute to Muriwai; it's an easy 20-30 minute drive from downtown Auckland and worth a visit if you are looking for locally made and unique gifts (not run of the mill China made stuff). Offerings include soft toys, apparel, accessories, stationery and home decor items. The quality is very good and prices very reasonable.

A great place to buy locally well made souvenirs - huge range to choose from. Located in the original Westgate Centre, always plenty of parking. A highly recommended place to visit

Great idea, lots of little stalls with goods produced by different artisans, lots of handmade stuff. Anything from furniture to soap. Lots of good NZ stuff if you're going overseas. Also good if you're looking for things for yourself. I got a great pair of sheepskin slippers here years ago and they're still going.

If your looking to buy people's crafts and hand made items then this is probably the best place in Auckland to go. I thought it was a craft supply shop. No it is not. But if you want to look at a massive array of well made home craft from textile to wood turning, painting to patchwork this is the... More

If you are after buying locally made souvenirs or gift this is a perfect place to visit. You have a great collection to choose from. This shop is way ahead of your basic souvenirs shop. Stuff on display has been made in NZ by some local artist.

Perfect place for "one-stop shop" if shopping for presents or souvenirs; easy to find in the original part of the Westgate Centre, open space divided into stalls for local artisans and craftspeople to personally display their wares. Huge range of goods available, all genuine New Zealand made. Absolutely recommended.

This is a must stop visit if you are at Westgate Shopping Centre. My daughters love the skincare products and I had a wonderful time browsing at the wide display of art and craft products created by the local artists and craftspeople. Really pretty and unusual items which are worth buying as souvenirs and presents. There's also a coffee corner... More

No plastic mass produced garbage at Craft world, everything is made locally. Food, skin care, ceramics, painting, clothing, photography, jewellery, furniture and more! This unique shop is really worth a visit if you want to buy genuine NZ souvenirs and gifts that are very reasonably priced.
