We really enjoyed this area. Even with ships out to sea, there were still many in the harbor. It is so peaceful, even with the hustle and bustle of all the tourists. Mostly going whale watching when we were there.

Fishing boats draw up at Quay side to sell their fresh fish and seafood, including sea urchins. A number of eateries and bakeries in the village - seafood, fish and chips, coffee and pastries.

I'm within walking distance to: Starbucks; bakery; butcher; grocery store; garden centre; physician; pharmacist; dentist; hairdresser; seawall; clothing stores; community centre; library, public transportation. We relocated to Steveston in 2014...More

Steveston is part of Richmond and is accessible by public transit. We've had friends visit from Burnaby with no car.
