You might want to swerve this right now as some parking has been removed due to Covid changes to widen sidewalks . So unless you’re prepared to come early or search an hour for parking, the appeal has lessened . Now those who come are picknickers who stay all day; set up day tents which is great but no parking turnover. So still no parking unless you take a bus which runs regularly and works just fine .

Beautiful scenery, hiking trails, and a cute town nearby. The village has lots of restaurants and cafes, and there are some great photo ops. Only thing is that I was unable to rent anything at the kayak/paddle-boarding shop because all the time slots were full, so be sure to book a couple of weeks in advance.

Located in Vancouver’s North Shore, Deep Cove is a good place for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, etc. outdoor enthusiasts will love its natural charms. There are cafes and shops along its Main Street to check out after an activity. Honey’s has wonderful home made breakfast and lunch fare. Their famed cake donuts come in cinnamon sugar and coconut cinnamon sugar. They are fluffy and completely addictive. The gelato shop a few steps away is excellent for a summer treat with its large selection of flavours. The beach is across from the shops and cafes. We had a nice time checking out Deep Cove in late June.

This is a well-run kayaking/paddleboard rental company situated on a beautiful cove. You must reserve ahead of time for the 2 hr minimum rental in the summer. Staff are great! There are no secure lockers but you can rent or buy waterproof bags. Good for adults and kids. But know one thing- unless you arrive very early, be prepared for parking nightmare. All the lots were full by 10 and we drove around for 25 min to find a spot, costing us time from our reserved two hour block. Nice little park so good place to bring or get food and hang out. Overall definitely recommend but plan ahead.

Truly beautiful place. We stayed here for four nights (five days). Saw seals and lots of birds. Magical views. Kayaking and paddle boarding available although we didn't have a go. Not sure you need more than a couple of days though, we spent a lot of the days on day trips.

Not many vegan options around here sadly.

Visit of a few hours very nice, it is lovely the bay with the boats, ideally take a kayak, we had the airbnb nearby and went every morning to run, in the afternoons to sunbathe and take a swim on the beach! The water's fresh. It has a lot of life with bars, cafes, shops... very cool atmosphere. Highly recommended

Spent a hot, sunny Saturday morning here and loved the tranquility. Tons of people kayaking and SUP'ing. A few short trails around the main beach made for some easy activity. Excellent spot for a picnic and people watching away from the noisy, dirty city. Simple bus ride to get there, too.

This is a beautiful destinationi in North Vancouver for a day getaway. Shops, restaurants, hiking trails, parks, picnic areas, kayaking and more.

It had been many years since I visited and forgot how truly beautiful this area is.

There is a wonderful kids playground at the foot of Deep Cove Road, with a nice little beach area where the water is crystal clear.

Pack a lunch for a picnic or enjoy the water activities a great place to take friends from out of town too.

We spent a few hours at Deep Cove and were able to park by the water. The views were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit by the bay and watch the kayaks and paddle boards. We spent time in the small village (currently having a lot of work on the road) and bought excellent ice creams. This is such a beautiful area and well worth a visit (avoid busy times if possible).

One of the most beautiful spots in a city that is full of of beautiful spots. There is a small park and a small beach with great views of the sea. The park is quiet and secluded with conveniently placed benches for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty. There is a small shopping area nearby with some good eating joints
