Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are countless trails that lead you to lakes, streams, waterfalls, Coquitlam river, and numerous bike trails. It truly is a fantasy land for teens and adults on bikes. Beware that nature still lives here, I have encountered deer, coyotes, bears and I have heard others siting cougars. But bring a bear bell and you will be fine. Just don't be the fastest or slowest hiker. I spend hours on tjses trails and the nice thing is that if you get lost, just go downhill and you will end up back in the city. Hopefully.

if you live in the Tri cities and want to go for a hike, no need to fear the crowds on the North Shore, just head over to Burke Mountain, a undiscovered gem.

Found the trails interesting and well laid out. I saw no wildlife but have heard it is there and hikers need to be aware and reasonably cautious. Wonderful for getting out of the maddening crowds and taking in some beautiful clean air.
