We chose the more difficult way up, and got countless wonderful views/photos as well as a workout. The lakes themselves were closed for restoration which was a little disappointing but the walk up is really the best part anyway. Took the easier way back down,...More

Took our grandson here, he is almost 13. The falls is beautiful, and if you can do the difficult part as you get a better view of the falls. Then continue on to the lakes. They are so lovely but cold. We saw some people...More

This is a nice hike for a family. Lakes are beautiful and views are amazing on the way up. The kids did well hiking this trail.

Beautiful easy hike to do with kids. There are two routes an easy gravel road but the views are not as great as the other hiking path. The hiking path is probably a bit harder because it has stairs but still easy for older kids....More

We are not experienced hikers and live at sea level but all enjoyed the experience! We have children ages 10, 13 and 14 and they were all able to do the "more difficult" path without any problems. Beautiful views and a must do if you...More

There were many dogs (on leash of course) when I was there. They do have to walk past each other coming and going.

Yes as long as the stroller has big wheels. We have a schwinn stroller that would have worked. An umbrella or stroller with plastic wheels would not be recommended. Do not try the hard way with a stroller as the path is... More
