This hike is excellent with amazing views all the way up. We took the waterfall route on the way up with little kids and it was doable. The views from the top and Grassi Lakes themselves are worth the 2.5 hour roundtrip. Keep going once...More

2 small yet very colorful and unique lakes. 2 Kilometer hike from the parking lot, and definitely worth stopping by when arriving at Canmore.

We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day to walk this trail. It is an easy hike with awesome mountain views. Loved it!

Great hike with our kids aged 5,9&11. Took the harder path along the mountain and my kids did great!

Reading the negative reviews, I see some people raved about it but gave it 1. Some people gave it 1 because it was closed due to bears in the area. Really? This was my third time up. It is an easy hike in that you...More

Bit of a cloudy day but still a gorgeous walk. Construction meant we couldn’t get to the higher lake this time but were still able to see the lower one. Definitely recommend

This hike was great for the first time beginners. The views are amazing and pictures do not do it justice **HIGHLY recommend taking the "more difficult" way up and coming back down the easy trail. ***

Grassi Lake is quite beautiful. The hike (also done by my 4 year old) was nice. We went up the easy way, and down the steeper trail. Along the hike there are beautiful spots. However, I wish I had known that a vein of powerlines...More

Being a prairie boy I had never seen much of the mountains. This was a great experience for my family and I. Went up the easy side, and came down the more challenging side. Breathtaking views. Look forward to coming back again one day.

Yes as long as the stroller has big wheels. We have a schwinn stroller that would have worked. An umbrella or stroller with plastic wheels would not be recommended. Do not try the hard way with a stroller as the path is... More
