Surface in general is in good condition. Scenic trail through Waterloo and Kitchener, and beyond. The trail crosses quite a few streets, some of them very busy with no apparent signs asking drivers to slow down or pay closer attention. As far as yielding to...More

Trails are a nice change to the streets and are nicely maintained. Well signed with a fair number of entrances not within the direct route. A nice way to get around. Pavement in places is a bit patchy but good overall.

The Iron horse trail is 7km of spectacular nature in Waterloo which is an very busy city, it connects waterloo to Kitchener. Shady trails to walk, run or bike. Dog friendly.

The entire trail is about 7+ kms long, originating in Waterloo and ending up at Fair view Mall area. Very well topped. Runs through a beautiful stretch of greenery, around Victoria Lake and many water bodies, along the Schneider Creek and many parks.

We found the Iron Horse Trail. It used to be a railroad for trains. We found a part of that railroad while we were walking. It’s quite old and it gives some nostalgia for what good it did in the past. The trail was really...More
