Walked from Aurora to Newmarket on fine gravel trail through largely wooded area until St Johns then tarmac surface to Fairy Lake. Difficult to believe you are in such a built up area as quiet with plenty of birds & butterflies, especially through the wetland...More

If you like walking and experiencing different vistas, then this walk is for you. You are in the trees, in the woods, in the country side, etc. A nice way to spend a Fall afternoon.

The trail is very nice, meandering along the river the entire way, from Aurora Road up to Mount Albert. Some asphalt, some dirt, some gravel, but fairly well maintained. It can get VERY crowded, especially on weekends. Many of the people are clueless with regard...More
