No matter what season, this is always a great place to visit. Beautiful trails. Just what the doctor ordered after a stressful week at the office.

I plan on visiting these trails in the spring. Or to camp there also . It is an hour drive from our home . Looking forward to this trip.

We spend 5 hours hiking different trails at Timberlost. Most of the trails are very well marked, but a few of the off-shoots are less clear. Hickory Lake trail markers came to a dead end at the lake and we spend 20 minutes finding a...More

Great maintained trails with picturesque views! Spent 3hrs hiking through here without touching half the trails. It was said they were better than Algonquin and they were free!

Found our way easily with the supplied maps. Each trail has a different environment to see. Such a wonderful jem and all for free.

At the end of February, I spent two days snow shoeing different trails in the Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve. Awesome. Some trails were well groomed, others more rustic (which means you can get slightly lost). Loved that there were so many routes to explore...More

This is an excellent place for hiking. It is not well known and never busy. It is free. The only down side, is the trails are not marked well for distance. Take your own water, and food for a picnic, there is no place close...More
