Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a volunteer run organization and we were happy to donate to it as requested, but the exhibits are actually tired and a bit boring. Children wanted to leave soon after arrival.

This is a very interesting place to learn about Collingwood history. We were very impressed with the displays and the knowledge of the staff. This is a must stop for anyone interested in the history of ship building.

A lovely museum with friendly staff and some cool activities for kids. Staff were proactive in greeting us and answering questions about the exhibits. It's not massive and kids probably need guidance and support to access the exhibits but the trail and colouring activities meant our 5 and 9 yo enjoyed themselves. Toilets were immaculately clean.

This is a self directed museum with lots of interesting displays about Collingwood recent past. Interesting displays about ship building and ship launching. The employees were available and answered all our questions. You can even make a badge for free. There’s is also a gift shop where you can buy tshirts, puzzles or a harmonica……fun.

I was so happy to see the Collingwood Museum .

It was closed.

However there were many items of the museum outside,

The associated Country women of the world.

Names of people who died.

In honor of those who served.

Items from the Museum.

A bell.

The museum is attractive!

The grounds are always well-kept here with nicely trimmed grass. A footpath crosses through the property next to the train car, from there it's only a short distance to the Friendship Gardens. This is a nice area to walk around and to see a train car up close.

What better way to know more about Collingwood than paying a visit to the Collingwood museum. If you take your tie you could end up spending a few hours here. However, you can also easily finish walking through the exhibits in 20minutes. Got to know more about the local and the ships
