A small museum tucked away on a quiet street. Provides a lot of interesting history of early Cobourg and it’s connection with Peterborough Railway and the city of Peterborough. Although the original intent of the building is not known several theories are put forth.More

It was an interesting, interactive layout for the children, and I learned a lot about the history of the area. The centre was closed when we arrived, but the guide took pity on us and let us in anyway which was very kind!

So glad you enjoyed your visit. We change exhibits every year, so hopefully next time you visit Cobourg the timing will work out better. But getting a private tour is great, if you're lucky enough!

A great Museum, showing all about the Cobourg Peterborough Railroad with a operating outside scale down train. Including a video of the same and many of the people of the Cobourg area over the years.
