We really enjoying walking up and down Baker street. There are many wonderful eateries and shop ( primarily sport clothing and equipment ones). Great historical buildings.

One of the best places to buy pot in BC! It was fun to barter for pot and meet the various street folk who were running their scams.

Baker street has lots of great shops, fun cafes and excellent restaurants. I like the fact there are almost no "mall shops" and each store is unique and interesting. It's a great place to wander and shop and the staff are all cheerful and welcoming.

Old world charm in British Columbia. Not strip-mall city, but a real town with a vibrant history that oozed from the lovingly cared for buildings. One could spend days in the shops on Baker, lingering in the eateries, then head up or down a block to do it all over again.

Wonderful to wend our way in and out of shops. Otter Books and Booksmyth used books were both excellent back eddies with very good service. Baker Street Men's Wear was a great place to shop. Reasonable prices, Pendleton, Woolrich, and Carhartt among others. The Craft Connection was an interesting gallery. Wonderful pottery, photography, metal work and more. I felt sorry... More

What a fun-filledarea! We may have strayed from Baker street for a couple of these stops but we weren't really familiar with the area so I'm not sure where we were at all times! We stopped in to all kinds of neat little shops along the way. We tried Sage ( a wine and tapas bar), Finleys (an Irish pub)... More
