An excellent example of a heritage museum and free! We loved the place and donated generously. I hope they keep the place going it is great facility with so many wonderful exhibits. If you are in the area you should see it!

This nice little "pocket park" is beautifully located on the bluffs above the rail line, and a short drive from from Lake Windermere or from where the Columbia River exists the lake. For a small museum, they have a surprising large collection of pioneer cabins...More

A good heritage park, very atmospheric. You don't even need it to be open to come, just walking around the buildings is great.

We found this museum quite by accident and whilst not huge, it is well set out, with some great authentic pieces and lots of information. The lady on duty was very helpful without being overbearing. Given that this is free entrance (a donation is suggested)...More

A nice way to spend a few hours...Strolling through the buildings and exhibits...Well done, great place to take a picnic, maybe the local wildlife will stroll through while you visit...
