Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendliest visitor centre in the province! They are currently in a temporary building but building a new visitor centre and museum complex.

This little town with the optimisitic name nestles against Moutains and the Fraser River. The chainsaw carvings are outstanding. My son wanted to see this town due to the Rambo - First Blood movie which filmed here. You can pick up a map which will describe which scenes were filmed where. For a few $, he also bought a poster from the Visitor's Centre. The staff were great and it really is lovely place to stop.

Since we were driving through Hope, I wanted to stop at the Visitor Center to see about buying some postcards. As I walked to the till to pay for them, the guy working there pointed out some free postcards, of B. C., and told me to take as many as I wanted. Obviously they must be doing some renovations to the building as they were now located in a trailer.

Easy to access from the highway, informative staff in both restaurants and sights- saw Othello tunnels on their recommendation and had 2 excellent meals in 2 different restaurants. Lots of info on major destinations in BC. Worth a stop.

The visitor centre seemed to be under construction. We talked to the hosts, they were quite nice and informative. The place was clean and tidy with lots of pamphlets to look at of things to do in the area. The parking is perfect when you are hauling a travel trailer.
