Interesting covered bridge for pedestrians over the fast-flowing Kicking Horse River built of heavy timbers in 2001. Display boards on the bridge give information about its construction. A free must-see when in Golden.
Absolutely fabulous experience rafting with Alpine Rafting. They were very experienced and professional. They outfitted you with wetsuit and helmets. I felt we were with very experience guides. It was sooooooooo much fun!!!!!

On a driving holiday we took Highway 1 along the Kicking Horse River and it was some the most breathtaking scenery we've ever encountered.
Make sure to allow time for impromtu stops along the way to take in the views of the mountains and lakes.
