Opened in 2011 Wildstone Golf Course is the first Black Knight Course by Gary Player Design to be built on Canadian soil. This incredibly well conditioned and player friendly course is set on the rolling highlands above the city of Cranbrook, BC where hole after hole golfers are treated to stunning postcard views of the Canadian Rockies. The course plays from 7,127 yards from the back tees and 4,947 from the front. The attention to detail in the design of the course is obvious. Generous landing areas from the variety of five tee boxes, closely mown green surrounds that allow for a variety of of short game options, well placed white sand bunkers and elegantly contoured greens that put a premium on approach shot accuracy are just some of the reasons that the course has received a 4.5 Star Golf Experience rating.Design: Black Knight Course by Gary Player Design Opened: 2011Par: 72 (37 Out, 35 In)Greens: A4/T1 Bentgrass Fairways: Kentucky Bluegrass.

If you have one golf course to visit in Cranbrook in the Kootenay Rockies, I suggest you play Wildstone. I heard the conditions were good and was blown away by the quality and consistency of the course. Great experience from arrival, first tee greeting and throughout our round.

We golfed this course as part of a multi-course resort package. The course is still new and it appears has lots of development around it to come. We're duffers but enjoyed to course. Overall it was in great shape and we were able to golf as a twosome which is what we prefer. The clubhouse is a large temporary building... More

I am from Alberta, but my parents live in Cranbrook and I get to play this course at least a couple times a year. This is one of my favorite courses, the course has always been in impeccable shape. The staff has always been friendly. The scenery is beautiful as has been all courses I've played in the area. The... More

Course was great, but the greens were really soft, lots of divots to fix. Staff very nice, wish the clubhouse was as nice as the course. Easy scoring course, good for the ego!

My husband ( serious golfer ) and I ( not serious golfer ) had a fabulous time here ! The red tees were a real equalizer and I actually parred a couple of par5's and birdied one ( first time ever ! My usual goal is a single or double bogey . The scenery is beautiful and all staff members... More

Like many other reviewers, I just loved this course and it was well in our price range. Most courses of this calibre are $100-$150/person and limit our opportunities. The front counter staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the course maintenance staff seemed to be diligent in all their activities (also very friendly). The course was in beautiful shape. I... More

Quite a variety of holes where some you can use a driver and others a 3 or 5 wood downhill or even uphill. Homes on 7 and a tight landing area means using a iron on a long par 5 and a silly design on 9 with a tree in the middle of the fairway and the green behind some... More
