Whether you live in Campbell River or are visiting the area, you must stop by the Museum. It is a wonderful experience learning about the history of Campbell River and surrounding areas. There is something for everyone. History on First Nations, Logging, Fishing and so much more. I had visitors from France researching their family tree and found some valuable... More

This is a surprisingly good museum for such a small City! If you plan on visiting Campbell River, this is a must Stop! The First Nations exhibit is very good, and the gift shop is quite nice. The view over the Harbour is quite astounding - very beautiful!

The young children were so good and totally interested in the displays, not bored at all, we also enjoyed it ., the history of Campbell River and area displays are really well done. Not a large museum, but they have made excellent use of the space.

For a small town like Campbell River, their museum is very impressive. To start with it is housed in a beautiful building with exhibits outside (a tug boat and logging equipment). Inside there is a first nations exhibit, a model of a historic Campbell River Hotel and displays of canning and fishing. A must see in Campbell River if you... More

There is a really cool and fascinating story at the beginning told through narration and masks that are lit up. There's a hands on area and a tour through "old" Campbell River! There is a neat area at the end that highlights their Japanese Sister City too!

Great exhibits and well presented information about local First Nation's tribes and early settlers including some interesting short movies. Delightful gift shop , you could do all your Christmas shopping in one stop!

It may not look too big but this museum packs lots in it. The displays allow you to immerse yourself in the past. Their changing gallery always has something interested on display, too.
