WE went in september to crite forest exactly to charco azul a river place unique that you walk a littlle to reach the end and see and enjoy the waterfall not to small not to big but cool and refreshing

Already commented on charco Azul but must add this.. If you see the sign for Carite Forest STOP..GET OUT and Walk a bit Awesome experience.. Out of the tourist way on a challenging road but oh so well worth it. The lower river is good...More

Smaller and less populated than the National Park, this forrest is beautiful and holds the Blue Pool!!
